| With competing small Flip types, the battery goes out and you need to have an expensive spare or a computer with USB, or a mains outlet to recharge. I badly needed an upgrade from a 6 year old MiniDV. | |

| Overall this is a very nice camera. I bought mine for a bit cheaper on another website, but Its the exact same camera. My Kodak point and shoot Still camera has been beat on for two years now and still ticks on. I originally bought the Zi8 from Newegg.com. It arrived in a sealed brown box via UPS. | |
