OK, Sony has been in the camera business a long time. They usually have parity with most other units in their same class. This time it is different.

I bought this camera for my wife to replace a Canon Powershot SD1100. Boy what a mistake that was. For a digital camera that is most likely used for simple recreational use, its features are outstanding. It took a few days to figure out.

The Sony dsc-T700 is a pretty good camera, especially since it is pretty cost effective (quality/price). When I talk about Sony, I can only think of great pictures.

"This camera is amazing; it takes such great pictures and I just love it. Even without flash it takes wonderful pictures. "I am not a pro photographer. I just want to point and shoot, take great pictures, and look at them before I load them onto my PC.
