I like the camera for its picture taking capability but dislike its video taking capability. It overheats in just a short time.

Very light. Great travel camera. Seems to produce excellent images. EVF can show histogram.

Welcome to the BuzzBox! The BuzzBox is an exciting new product that recharges mobile devices in public spaces. An innovation of location-based advertising and mobile technology, the BuzzBox offers a completely free of charge and hassle-free opportunity to increase revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. The Company

Stay Mobile Techonology was founded by Dr Colin Moughton and Dr Joseph OMahoney in 2003. Built and designed by British engineer Colin Moughton, the BuzzBox is the companys flagship product. Utilizing the latest cutting-edge mobile technology, the BuzzBox is a locker-style machine that recharges mobile devices in places such as gyms, airports, pubs, student bars and hotels. It comprises 8 steel encased compartments that quickly recharge many types of phone, PDA or mp3 player. The BuzzBox is safe, secure and easy to use.
Using a BuzzBox couldnt be simpler. The customer Identifies the correct locker for their mobile device. Connects the device inside the locker. Inserts payment. Secures locker with high-security key. The Stay Mobile team is currently developing new technology to enable a wireless key-fob system that alerts users to calls or messages while their phone is charging. Other features being developed are video and music downloads direct from the BuzzBox, and the purchasing of phone credit.

Hosting a BuzzBox

Installing and maintaining a BuzzBox is completely hassle-free. The Stay Mobile team installs, maintains and retains all liability for the BuzzBox. Not only that, the Stay Mobile team supplies and installs a BuzzBox free of charge, so you can improve customer service and attract extra visitors, without increasing your costs. The stylish front facia is branded by a sponsor (usually a mobile operator). This sponsorship enables the BuzzBox to be offered free of charge to hosts. The suitability of the sponsors facia graphic is always agreed in advance with the BuzzBox host. As a host, you can solicit a small fee (1) for use of the BuzzBox or offer it free of charge. Either way, there are numerous potential benefits to installing the BuzzBox in your venue. Hosting a BuzzBox will: Generate additional revenue through direct customer usage. Attract new customers to your venue. Retain customers at your venue for longer. Enhance the image of your venue.
In addition, your establishment will be promoted through the BuzzBox website.

The BuzzBox is a locker-style machine for recharging mobile devices such as phones, iPods and PDAs in public places. Using a BuzzBox couldnt be simpler. The customer: Identifies the correct locker for their mobile device. Connects the device inside the locker. Inserts payment. Secures locker with high-security key. For a full list of compatible devices, see Appendix i. Typically, the BuzzBox can provide a 75% charge within 15 minutes. However, each mobile device is different and charge times can vary. If the locker door is opened before the charge time is over, the timer and payment charge is reset. Therefore you need to insert further payment to continue charging your device. The BuzzBox is extremely secure. The machine comprises 8 steel encased compartments and utilizes high security locks that minimize vandalism and theft. The BuzzBox requires very little energy to run. We estimate the running cost to be less than 30 per annum. The BuzzBox requires very little maintenance. Nevertheless, each machine is fully maintained by the Stay Mobile team. The amount of money you can make largely depends on the number and type of visitors to your venue. However, on the whole, energy is a constant problem for mobile-users. 61% of young people surveyed said they ran out of battery power in the previous month. Therefore, it is likely that, as a BuzzBox host, you will be providing an essential service to your customers. Appendix ii.

Terms of customer use
By using the BuzzBox the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please do not use the BuzzBox. The continued access and use of the BuzzBox will amount to acceptance of these terms. GENERAL 1. This BuzzBox shall only be used to charge mobile phones and other permitted mobile entertainment devices (Devices). You should not use the BuzzBox for any other purposes. You should not leave any other objects apart from the Devices inside a BuzzBox. 2. A Device shall only be left in the BuzzBox for the duration of the charging process. In exceptional circumstances a Device may be left in the BuzzBox after the charging process is complete. In such circumstances a Device may be left in a BuzzBox for up to five hours. If a Device is left for longer than five hours it will be removed. In order to reclaim your Device you should call 1406 to arrange for its collection. Please note that collection will only be possible if you present a form of identification, such as a passport, a driving licence and/or utility bill. PAYMENT 3. We conform to the guidelines laid down by the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services, the details of which may be found at LOST KEY 4. If you lose a key to a BuzzBox locker you should call 1406 to arrange for the unlocking of the BuzzBox. We will retrieve your Device for a fixed charge of 15. You will also have to produce two forms of identification (such as a driving licence, a passport and/or utility bills) before we can unlock your Device. WARRANTY 5. We strive to ensure that all our BuzzBoxes are functioning properly. In the eventuality that you discover a fault with a BuzzBox please let us know by telephoning 1406 or by email LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 6. Any Devices left in a BuzzBox are at the owners risk. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to the Devices unless such damage or loss is caused directly by our negligence. 7. We shall not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business opportunity or depletion of or damage to goodwill, in each case whether direct,

indirect or consequential, or for any claims for indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (and howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with the use of the BuzzBox.
8. Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for the following: 8.1 death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or 8.2 any matter which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability; or 8.3 for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION 9. These terms shall be governed by English law and are subject to jurisdiction of English courts.

Mobile Battery Research

The following results are taken from a YouGov survey conducted in June 2006. Survey Results: Mobile Phone Battery 61% of under 30-year olds ran out of battery power while out and about in the last month. 47% of 30-50-year olds ran out of battery in the last month 30% of the 50+ age group ran out of battery in the last month
Fear of battery failure Modern mobile phones possess a number of features beyond calling, such as the ability to take pictures, play games listen to music and watch videos. 48% of under 30-year olds said they had avoided using these features in the last month because of fear of running out of battery.
