Before connecting, turn off the amplifier or receiver to avoid damaging the speaker system. This speaker system is driven best by an amplifier or receiver rated as per the wattage indicated in the specification section. A low-powered amplifier or receiver could result in signal clipping, which could result in tweeter burn-out. Therefore, it is recommended to use an amplifier or receiver with sufficient power rating. Note Avoid driving the speaker system continuously with a wattage exceeding the maximum input power of each speaker.

Precautions

Do not attempt to open the enclosure or remove speaker units. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Keep recorded tapes, watches, and personal credit cards using magnetic coding away from the speaker system. Periodically wipe the cabinet with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of scouring powder, abrasive pad or solvent. Be sure to install the grill net in the correct direction.

Speaker Placement
Please note that room acoustics can often produce large difference in the sound for small changes in speaker placement. Set up your speaker system on a hard, flat place. Place the speaker system against a hard wall with its back about 10 cm (4 in.) away from a wall. The proportion of bass increases as you move a speaker close to intersecting room surfaces (wall and wall, etc.). Place the right and left speakers in a similar acoustic environment. It is recommended that the speaker/listener relationship be an equilateral triangle.

Precautions

Avoid driving the speaker system continuously with a wattage exceeding the maximum input power of this speaker system. Before connecting, turn off the amplifier to avoid damaging the speaker system. If the +/ connection is incorrect, the bass tones will seem to be missing and the position of the instruments becomes obscure. The speaker grille on the SS-CN3000P and SS-SR3000P cannot be removed. Do not attempt to remove the grille on the SS-CN3000P and SS-SR3000P. If you try to remove it, you may damage the speaker. In case color irregularity is observed on nearby TV screen With the magnetically shielded type of the speaker system, the speakers can be installed near a TV set. However color irregularity may still be observed on the TV screen depending on the type of your TV set. If color irregularity is observed. Turn off the TV set, then turn it on after 15 to 30 minutes. If color irregularity is observed again. Place the speakers more apart from the TV set.

To put the SS-CN3000P on your TV set Please attach a foot pad (supplied) to each bottom corner of the speaker, and make sure that the speaker is completely flat on top of the TV.

Mass Supplied accessory To hang SS-SR3000P with a hook (not supplied) on the wall You are responsible for the proper selection and use of mounting hardware that you purchase at hardware stores, and for the proper and safe mounting of the speakers. To install SS-SR3000P on the speaker stand (not supplied) It is recommended to use the optional WS-FV11 or WS-FV10D speaker stand (available only in certain countries). Be sure to detach the screw A from the speaker and use it during installation. For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the speaker stand.

Si la polarit +/ nest pas respecte, les graves sembleront absents et la position des instruments indistincte. La grille de lenceinte sur les SS-CN3000P et SS-SR3000P ne peut pas tre enleve. Nessayez pas de lenlever sur les SS-CN3000P et SS-SR3000P, sinon lenceinte risque dtre endommage. En cas danomalie de couleur sur un tlviseur se trouvant proximit Grce leur blindage magntique, vous pouvez installer les enceintes prs dun tlviseur. Cependant, selon le type de tlviseur, les couleurs sur lcran peuvent tre anormales.

En cas danomalie de couleur. teignez le tlviseur puis rallumez-le minutes plus tard. Si lanomalie de couleur persiste. Eloignez davantage les enceintes du tlviseur.
