S-DIAT TECHNOLOGY

Sonys wireless BRAVIA Theatre systems incorporate Sonys new S-DIAT (Digital Infra-red Audio Transmission) technology, allowing you to receive audio transmission from your rear speakers with the speakers being connected directly to the amplifier. Even if the infra-red beam is disturbed by digital or human interference, youll enjoy the same dynamic, un-interrupted digital quality sound that youd experience in a theatre.

DIGITAL CINEMA AUTO CALIBRATION (DCAC)
Setting up any surround sound system involves more than just connecting speakers. The system needs to be told what size the speakers are, the distance to the listener, and some equaliser settings may be required. Systems that have Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) come supplied with a microphone that has a long cable to allow for placement in the ideal listening position in the room. Once you have connected the microphone to the amplifier, you will be able to automatically set up your system to perfectly suit your requirements and size of your room. Setting up any system with DCAC is as simple as connecting and placing the supplied microphone and pressing auto calibration button on the remote control. And it will take only a few minutes!

DIGITAL MEDIA PORT

The Digital Media Port allows you to use your Sony DAV Home Theatre sound system to play music stored on portable music devices or PCs. You can connect your devices to special bases or receivers, which connect to the Digital Media Port. Conveniently, title and performer information is displayed on the TV screen as the music is playing. There are separate Digital Media Port bases and receivers for different types of devices, including Sony Network Walkman, iPod, Bluetooth devices or PCs.

S-FORCE

MotionFlow High Frame Rate technology doubles the amount of frames from 50fps to 100fps and does it the right way by using real-time calculation of every single frame of video to create entire new frames of information. High Speed Response SXRD technology does not merely stop at resolution but takes into account Response Time, critical for any viewing of fast-moving images like sports, action and animated films. Having an ultra-thin Liquid Crystal cell which is half as thick as conventional LCD panels, offers a tremendous advantage because thinner layers equate to fewer Liquid Crystal molecules to twist.
