Directions

Meridian Television Centre, Radcliffe Road, Northam, Southampton SO14 0PZ From London: M3 to its end at Winchester, the road changes to A33 to Southampton. Continue on A33 until M27 EAST. Bear eastwards onto the M27 (NOT West), following the signs for Portsmouth and Southampton Airport. Leave at junction 5 signed Southampton Airport & A335. At roundabout take 3rd exit signed A335 Southampton City Centre. Proceed through 1st set of traffic lights and at second set take filter lane left onto A335 signed City Centre and Portswood. Continue through 3 sets of traffic lights, at 4th set turn left and then immediate right (before Bridge) into Empress Road. Go to end of Empress Road (there is a sharp bend just before the end of Empress Road). Turn left into Mount Pleasant Road, over the railway crossing and 1st left into road for the Meridian Main Gate. From Portsmouth (M27): Directions as above, except at junction 5 of M27 take the 1st exit for the A335. From West via Ciy Centre: Enter Southampton on the A3024 passing the Southampton Central Staion on left. At traffic lights at top of hill, bear straight ahead, past the Civic Centre on left, crossing at the next set of lights into New Road. Turn into Six Dials which becomes Northam Road A3024. Continue on this road, pass over railway bridge with the Gas Towers on right and take 4th turning on left, opposite Prince of Wales public house, into Union Street. At end of Union Street turn right to approach the Meridian Main Gate.
