The shape of the following STIHL guide bars has been modified very slightly so that they can be allocated to the international standard number of drive links per cutting length:. STIHL Rollomatic E Super 9841 for chains with 97 drive links has changed to 9842 for chains with 98 drive links. STIHL Rollomatic E Super 9746 for chains with 96 drive links has changed to 9745 for chains with 95 drive links.

At the present time the new Rollomatic ( Light is available in a length of 35 cm (14 in) under part number 7409. 1RWH The new Rollomatic E Light guide bar was announced to a limited number of markets in Technical Information bulletin 08.93 which had the same content as this TI.
An entirely new concept has been used in the design of the new Rollomatic E Light guide bar. The body of the bar consists of two profiled and hollowed-out steel plates which are welded together. The distance between the two plates, equivalent to the groove width of the finished bar, is maintained by bosses in the area of the welds. After welding, the remaining recesses and cavities are filled with fiberglass-reinforced polyamide in an injection molding process. Spaces are left for installation of the nose sprocket, and for the bar groove. The bottom of the groove is also polyamide with an integrally molded Ematic ramp in the area of the oil inlet hole.
