Safety Precautions
Do not disassemble, repair or modify the player by yourself. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only. Keep the player clean and never store it close to heat sources or dirty, humid or rainy places and avoid direct sunlight. If the surface is dirty, please clean it with soft cloth wet with clean water or soft cleaning fluids and never clean the case with alcohol or aggressive diluents. Never use the player in extremely dry environment to avoid static discharging. Never apply heavy impact on the player like dropping it or placing it on a magnet.

Battery

The battery used in this device may cause a fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, incinerate, or heat the battery. Do not dispose the player in fire to avoid explosion because the player has built-in battery. Do not leave the battery in a place subject to direct sunlight, or in a car with its windows closed. Do not press the player with bare hands if the built-in battery is leaking. In this case, contact service center for help since the liquid may remain in the player. If your body or clothes has been contacted with the battery liquid, wash it off thoroughly with water. Also, if some of liquid gets into your eyes, do not rub your eyes but immediately wash them with clean water, and consult a doctor. Do not connect the player to a power source other than that indicated in this manual or on the label as this may result in the risk of fire or electric shock.

Earphone
Never use the player during driving a car or using other vehicles to avoid traffic accidents. This is also content of the law of some countries. Even while walking it may be dangerous especially when crossing the street. Please do not listen in extremely high volume to avoid any dangers. Wherever potential risks may arise, please do not use the player to ensure your safety. Hearing experts advise against the constant use of personal stereos played at high volume. Constant exposure to high volumes can lead to hearing loss. If you should experience ringing in the ears or hearing loss, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Please insert the earphone prior to turn on the player, which can not only avoid damaging the earphone but keep the player in good condition also. Turn off the player when it is not used.

Conneting to a PC

Never disconnect the player from PC during downloading, uploading and formatting to avoid failures and losses of data. When the player is used as removable disk, please follow strictly the given file download and upload procedures. Our company does not resume any responsibility for any data losses due to misuse.

Important
Please charge the battery immediately when the display indicates low battery, or the device will be powered off automatically. In this case, all settings will be saved. Please disconnect the player from PC properly to avoid data loss. Battery service life may be various from different using conditions, manufacturer and manufacturing time. Avoid losses of data by regularly making backups of your data. In both power on and power off state, the player may be charged by the connection to PC via the USB line.

Before Using

Driver
Windows2000/XP/ME/Vista, Macintosh OS X This player is plug & play for WIN2000/XP/ME/Vista OS and Macintosh OS X. Windows98/SE For Windows98/SE, you are required to install a driver (available from TEAC by request) before connection.
Connect to a PC and download audio files
To connect the player with the PC for transferring files: Plug the larger end of the USB cable to the USB port of the PC, and plug the smaller end to the USB port of the player. Important: Copy music files to the MUSIC.DIR folder or to the root directory. Copy movie files to the MOVIE.DIR folder. Copy photo files to the PHOTO.DIR folder. Copy text files to the TEXT.DIR folder. Windows It may take Windows several minutes to recognize and set up the device the first time it is connected depending on your hardware configuration. If you are using media management software such as iTunes, Winamp, or Windows Media Player, please refer to their documentation for support. Macintosh Open a finder window. Locate the files you would like to transfer from your computer. Select the files/folders with the mouse and press APPLE-C (copy) on thekeyboard. Click on the Removable Disk icon located on the left side of the finder window. The computer will display all files and folders currently stored in the player. Press APPLE-V (paste) on the keyboard to transfer the files you selected to the player.
Removing the player safely from the PC
Windows2000/XP 1. Left click the icon at the right hand corner of the taskbar. 2. Click on the pop-up mini-window with message of Safely Remove the USB Mass Storage Device Drive (X:). 3. When you are prompted to remove the device, pull out the player. Windows98 Please make sure the data transfer is completed before unplugging the MP3 player. Macintosh 1. On the left side of the Finder Window, identify the appropriate Removable Disk icon. 2. Click on the Eject arrow on the right of the Removable Disk icon. 3. Charging the battery

The unit is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. If the icon is displayed the battery has to be charged. Please charge the player with the provided USB cable at the PC. Upon initial use, the battery should be charged fully (8 hours) to ensure optimal performance and battery life. To charge the battery, connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB interface of PC, and connect the other smaller end of the USB cable to the USB interface of this player. The charging starts immediately after the connection is made. When the player is connected and charging, a USB symbol will be displayed on the players screen. Important: 1. Do not connect the player to a power source other than that which is indicated here or on the label as this may result in the risk of fire or electric shock. 2. If the player gets unusually hot during charging, or you will note any strange behaviour, disconnect the player immediately from PC or charging unit and contact your local dealer. 3. If the player has not been used in a while, the battery may need to be recharged overnight (about 8 hours). 4. The computer must be powered on and not in sleep mode.

Power On/Off
To power On: Press the On/Off button to power on the player.
To power Off: Under any mode press and hold the On/Off button until you see prompt on the display. The player enters power off mode.
Disabling the Controls (HOLD)
You may want to disable the controls to avoid turning on the player or activating the controls accidentally when it is in your pocket or bag. If you press and hold down the M and buttons simultaneously, you will lock all buttons. If a button is pressed, a locking symbol is shown on the display. To unlock the buttons, press and hold down buttons simultaneously again. the M and
If the behavior of the player seems not to respond normally (usually very seldom), it can be reset with a small cylindrical pin.
In this case, the player should not be connected to a PC or charging equipment.

Main Menu
After the player is turned on, it will be in the main menu. The main menu offers eight functions: Music: Pictures: Movies: Radio: E-Books: Record: Explorer: Settings: Browse and play music. Browse and view pictures. Browse and play movies. Listen to FM radio broadcasts and record FM files. Browse and read text files. Play recorded files (voice and FM) and record voice files. Browse and delete all files. Adjust the players options.

Playing Music

Note: If you have loaded new music files onto the player, the music library will need to be refreshed when you enter Music mode. This process may take several minutes. You will not be able to access the Music Browser screen until you refresh the music library. Press and hold M until the main menu is displayed. Select with Music and confirm with. Music Browser Screen

If your music files contain ID3 song information tags, you will be able to view your tracks by Artist, Album, or Genre. To view all files (including those that do not contain ID3 information), select All songs or use the Browser option. If music is already playing, you will have the additional option to return to the Now Playing screen. To use the buttons please proceed as described in the paragraph Browser Controls.

Quick Play List

To create a quick Play List that contains your favorite songs:

Now Playing Controls (Music Playback)
To start playing music, browse for a song and then press to start playback. When a song is playing, the Now Playing screen appears (see below). The following functions may be performed from the Now Playing screen. Album Cover Widget Function
Some music files contain ID3 tag information like the name of the artist, the name of the album, the cover art, or genre information, which can be displayed by the player. The widget is able to fetch this information during downloads. Important: Normally only original copyright protected files contain this information. If the music file does not contain entries in the ID3 tag, the player will display a symbol showing a rotating CD.

Lyrics
This player supports the lyrics function of MP3 playback. Important Lyrics file format has to be *.LRC. File name has to be the same as the songs name. Lyrics file has to be placed in the folder of the song.

Playing Movies
Press and hold M until the main menu is displayed. Select with or Movies and confirm with. The Movie Browser screen will appear. To use the buttons please proceed as described in the paragraph Browser Controls.

Video Mode

To use the buttons please proceed as described in the paragraph "Basic Operation". Important: This player is only able to play MTV videos that have been converted with the provided converting tool.

Video Conversion

Use the video conversion software utility included on the Installation CD to create video files that are suitable for playback on the player. Your player supports MTV files with the following specifications: 128 x 128 resolution at 25 frames per second (fps). Important notice: The video conversion software is included for your convenience and is compatible with Microsoft Windows operating systems only. There are many other video conversion utilities available for download or purchase on the internet. Because the program is licensed free of charge, there is no warranty for the program, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Installation

Copy the folder VideoConverter_V2.12.00(128x128) to your computer.

Converting Video

To start the software, double-click the file VideoConvert.exe. The application window shown below will appear.

to select the source video file to convert. The source file must be one of the following video types: AVI (*.avi), WMV (*.wmv, *.asf), MPEG-1 (*.mpg), QuickTime (*.mov, *.qt), MPEG-2 (*.vob), RealMedia (*.rm, *.rmvb), MPEG-4, or 3GP (*.3gp) DirectX 9.0, Media Player 9.0, and other codecs must be installed to support all media types.
2. Click the Output Video button
to select the folder that the converted file will be saved to. 3. Click the Start Conversion button to start the conversion process. 4. When the conversion is complete, copy the converted files to the players MOVIE.DIR folder for playback.

FM Radio

Important: Earphone cable serves as an extended antenna, so please keep it plugged in. Select Radio in the main menu. Then press radio. to start the FM

Radio Mode

Upon entering FM Radio mode, you can tune to stations manually or to preset stations. Note: You must save preset stations prior to using preset tuning mode. Press and hold to automatically save all stations within reception range as preset stations. This will overwrite all previously saved preset stations.

Press to change between tuning modes: Manual: Press or to tune to stations manually. To auto-seek to the next available broadcast station, press and hold or. To save the current station as a preset station, press M, select and confirm ( Save) with Add Preset, then press again. Preset: Press or to tune to the next Preset Station. You must save Preset Stations prior to using this tuning method. To delete the current preset station, press M, select Del Preset, and confirm ( Delete) with again or then press cancel with M. or to adjust the volume level. Press Press and hold M to return to the Main menu.

FM Recording

In FM Radio mode: 1. Press M button to find two options: Add Preset or Del Preset and Start Record. button to start the FM 2. Select Start Record, then press Recording. It does not matter which mode (Manual or Preset) the player is in. 3. During recording press button to pause or resume recording. 4. Press M button to stop recording and save the recorded file. Reading an E-Book
Press and hold M until the main menu is displayed. Select with or E-Books and confirm with. The E-Book Browser screen will appear. To use the buttons please proceed as described in the paragraph Browser Controls.

E-Book Mode

The player can display text files with manual control or as a slideshow (text files automatically advance to the next page). Press to toggle between Auto and Manual Mode. To display a text file, select and confirm the file from the E-Book List. Use the following controls while reading text. Button Function Skip to the previous page. Skip to the next page. Playing voice
Press and hold the M button to display the Main menu. Use the or button to select Record, and press button to enter voice playing mode. For detail information about playing, see the Basic Operation section. The following functions are provided in voice mode: Play recorded files from FM Play recorded files from microphone All functions of the keys are similar to those of the function music play.

Voice Recording

In Record mode: 1. Long press button to find two options: Repeat and Start Record. Select Start Record, then press button again to confirm selection. 2. During recording, press button to pause or resume recording. 3. Press M button to stop recording and save the recorded file. System saves recorded file in the MICIN.DIR folder automatically as format: MIC0000X.wav. button to start, 4. To playback the recorded file, press the pause or resume playback.
Deleting Files and Folders (Explorer)
Enter Explorer mode to view and delete all folders and files loaded on your player. Press and hold M until the main menu is displayed. Select with Explorer and confirm with. or To use the buttons please proceed as described in the paragraph Browser Controls. To delete a selected item, press M. Select Yes and confirm with.

Customized Settings
To customize the player settings: 1. In the main menu, select the Settings item and press to enter the system settings mode. 2. Press or to select setting item. Confirm with. Pressing the button or M brings you one level up into the next menu.
Power Sleep Set the duration of time (in minutes) that the player will remain on when it is idle. The settng of "OFF" will disable the Power or to set the Saving feature. Use values. Adjust the duration of time (in seconds) that the backlight will remain on after a button press. A setting of Always On will keep the backlight on continuously. Use or to set the values. It may become necessary to format your player if data or files become corrupt. You may choose either Quick or Complete formatting. A Complete format will take more time. Restore all of the player's settings to their factory-default state. Information about the product Sort all music that loaded on your player. Select Force Sort to update the music library immediately. This process may take several minutes if you have transferred music files to the player recently.

Firmware Upgrade

From time to time, TEAC may release firmware upgrades to improve the performance of the Player or to add additional features. Please check the TEAC website periodically at www.teac.de to see if new firmware has been released for your player. If you are experiencing abnormal behavior with your player, you may choose to restore (format) your player before updating its firmware. Very important: Before using this function, please first backup all data in the player. Confirm that the BATTERY charge is sufficient. Do not interrupt the firmware upgrade process doing so could damage your player and render it inoperable. See the documentation that is included with the firmware upgrade file for detailed instructions.

Upgrade Procedure
Fist, connect the player with the PC, and then open FWISP.exe. You will see the window as follows:
Click the first button (OK, or YES, or SURE, or Confirm). You will see the window as follows:
Click the first button (Yes), the computer will display how much the upgrade has be finished, just like 10%,20%,40% until 100%. The upgrade has been finished. At the same time, you can see:
Click the OK button to confirm, then safely remove the player. The player has been upgraded successfully.

Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Battery is too low. Cannot power on. Solution Charge the battery. Try charging the player overnight (8 hours). Re-initialize player (press reset hole with metal pin). The player has no response when the buttons are pressed. The buttons are locked. Player "hangs". Unsupported operating system Cannot be downloaded from PC. The player is connected through a USB hub. No connection between player and PC No more free memory in the player The volume is too low. No sound when playing an audio file. Bad audio file. Headphone is not connected correctly. Bad audio file. Unlock the buttons. Re-initialize player (press reset hole with metal pin). Ensure that your computer is running a supported operating system. Try connecting the player directly to your computer. Check if the USB cable is correctly connected and in good condition. Delete files which were not longer needed. Adjust the volume. Delete or skip the file. Ensure that the headphones are attached securely to the player. Delete or skip the file. The higher the bit rate of the file, the better it will sound. The minimum recommended bit rate is 128kbps for MP3s and 96kbps for WMAs Ensure that the headphones are attached securely to the player.
The sound quality of the music is poor
The bit rate of the file is too low.
Headphone is not connected correctly.

Problem
Possible Cause The file format is not supported.
Solution Skip it or reload another file. If you feel this is in error, please contact the service from which you downloaded the file. Set in Settings/Language correct language. Re-initialize player (press reset hole with metal pin).
The player will not play my music file
The file may be copyprotected and you no longer have authorization to play this file. Incorrect language setting.
Onscreen text looks weird.
The video cannot be played.
The file format is not supported. The video data is corrupted
Make sure the video file is converted to MTV format with the provided converter tool. Skip it or reload another file Try to use an image editor. Skip it or reload another file. Connect the earphone. The earphone cord functions as an antenna. Turn off the power of the electric devices. If it is effective, move and use the player away from those electric devices. Re-initialize player (press reset hole with metal pin).
The photo cannot be displayed The TXT file cannot be read

Poor FM reception Electric devices near the player.

Safety Precautions
Do not disassemble, repair or modify the player by yourself. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only. Keep the player clean and never store it close to heat sources or dirty, humid or rainy places and avoid direct sunlight. If the surface is dirty, please clean it with soft cloth wet with clean water or soft cleaning fluids and never clean the case with alcohol or aggressive diluents. Never use the player in extremely dry environment to avoid static discharging. Never apply heavy impact on the player like dropping it or placing it on a magnet. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer when you do not use the player for a long time. Maximum output voltage150mV

Battery

The battery used in this device may cause a fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, incinerate, or heat the battery. Do not dispose the player in fire to avoid explosion because the player has built-in battery. Do not leave the battery in a place subject to direct sunlight, or in a car with its windows closed. Do not touch the player with bare hands if the built-in battery is leaking. In this case, contact service center for help since the liquid may remain in the player. If your body or clothes has been contacted with the battery liquid, wash it off thoroughly with water. Also, if some of liquid gets into your eyes, do not rub your eyes but immediately wash them with clean water, and consult a doctor. Do not connect the player to a power source other than that indicated in this manual or on the label as this may result in the risk of fire or electric shock. The supplied batteries are subject to wearout. Their capacity and therefore their lifetime depend on the number of charge/ decharge cycles. rioration of capacity. Changes in temperature like high or low temperatures, mechanical stress (like dropping down) or other environmental influences may reduce the capacity of the batteries. So use batteries within the limits of the specification only and take them out of the device, if it is not used for a longer period of time or run from wall outlet. Prior to take batteries out of the unit, you have to switch off the device and disconnect it from the charging adapter. Check charging adapters for their model number prior using it for charging the device. Only use batteries, charging adapters, and accessories which were approved from TEAC for using it with a certain device model. Using other types of equipment may void the approval for use, and/or warranty claims. Furthermore there may be dangerous implications. Please ask in case your vendor for approved accessories.

Earphone

Never use the player during driving a car or using other vehicles to avoid traffic accidents. This is also content of the law of some countries. Even while walking it may be dangerous especially when crossing the street. Please do not listen in extremely high volume to avoid any dangers. Wherever potential risks may arise, please do not use the player to ensure your safety. Hearing experts advise against the constant use of personal stereos played at high volume. Constant exposure to high volumes can lead to hearing loss. If you should experience ringing in the ears or hearing loss, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Please insert the earphone prior to turn on the player, which can not only avoid damaging the earphone but keep the player in good condition also. Turn off the player when it is not used.

Connecting to a PC
Never disconnect the player from PC during downloading, uploading and formatting to avoid failures and losses of data. When the player is used as removable disk, please follow strictly the given file download and upload procedures. Our company does not resume any responsibility for any data losses due to misuse.

Important

Please charge the battery immediately when the display indicates low battery, or the device will be powered off automatically. In this case, all settings will be saved. Please disconnect the player from PC properly to avoid data loss. Battery service life may be various from different using conditions, manufacturer and manufacturing time. Avoid losses of data by regularly making backups of your data. In both power on and power off state, the player may be charged by the connection to PC via the USB line. Supplied or connected to units cabling is subject to wearout. Especially carrying it in trouser pockets or other insufficient carrying cases, bending it, strong pulling, or buckling it, may lead to premature failure and to damages. Please ensure correct handling and keep the cabling carefully furled in cases which will void stresses to it. Whenever cables are disconnected never pull the cable. Pull the plug instead.

Before Using

Driver

Windows2000/XP/ME/Vista This player is plug & play for WIN2000/XP/ME/Vista OS. Windows98SE Under Windows98SE drivers have to be installed. Do not connect the unit to your computer before the installation of the driver is finished. Insert the provided CD into your CDROM drive or download the driver from our web site. Double click on SETUP.EXE (USB Disk Win98 Driver Version xxx.exe) and follow the instructions on the screen. Connect the MP-375SD and the PC with the provided USB cable after finishing the installation.
Connect to a PC and Download Audio Files
To connect the player with the PC for transferring files: 1. Make sure that your computer has been started before you start.
2. Plug the larger end of the USB cable to the USB port of the PC,
and plug the smaller end to the USB port of the player.

3. When the

icon appears at the right bottom of the PC screen, double click My Computer on the desktop, you see a removable disk which indicates the player. Just use the removable disk as a regular local disk, copying files from or to it.

Removing the Player From the PC Safely
For Windows2000/XP 1. Left click the icon at the right hand corner of the taskbar. 2. Click the pop-up mini-window with message of Safely Remove the USB Mass Storage Device Drive (X:, Y:). 3. When you are prompted to remove the device, pull out the player. For Windows98 Please make sure the data transfer is completed before unplugging the media player. Special reminder: Do not disconnect the USB cable when data is being transmitted between PC and player, which may damage data or cause data losses in the player. Disconnection should be conducted only when device can now be safely removed from the system is displayed; When the USB is in operation, other button is inactive. If the player fails to power on due to data loss or I/O mistake reminder by mal-operation, please refer to the trouble shooting section for solution.

Charging the Battery
The device has a rechargeable built-in polymer ion battery. It is charged via USB connection. You are required to charge it when you use it for the first time. To charge the battery, connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB interface of PC, and connect the other smaller end of the USB cable to the USB interface of this player. The device is connected to PC and being charged. You see an animating battery icon indicating charge progress. The battery of the player is 80-percent charged in about two hours and fully charged ( ) in about four hours. If you charge the player while loading files to the player, it might take longer.
Recommended temperature for battery charging is 0C to 35C. Fully charge it before you use the player for the first time or when you havent used it for a long time. Charge the player right now when the Low battery ( ) message is displayed. Do not over charge or discharge the player. Over charging or discharging will shorten the battery life. The battery could be over discharged if the player is not used for a long time (over three months). To avoid over discharge, fully charge the player every two or three month and always keep the voltage of the battery above 50%. If the player is not used for a long time, keep it under the temperature of 235C and the moisture of 6520% RH to maintain the performance of the battery.

Note: If it is the first time for you to turn on the player or turn on the player after default settings or resetting, you have to select a display language by pressing or buttons and then press button to confirm. While the player is connected to the computer, you can also press and hold the button to turn on the player.

Lock function

All buttons of the player will be locked after you do not use it in a certain time (you can set the time in setup menu). This prevents you from accidental pressing the buttons while using the player on the move. Press and hold the buttons to unlock all buttons.

Reset function

If the player cant be used normally for some reasons (should not happen in normal operation), please use a small cylindrical plastic stick to reset the player. In this case the player should not be connected to the PC or an adapter.

Using microSD Card Slot
After connecting the player to the computer, you will find two portable devices. One is the built-in memory device and the other one is the device associated to the microSDTM card. It enables you adding up to 8GB of additional memory to your player. The player supports direct playing of songs/videos on microSDTM cards. Insert the microSDTM card into the card slot with the metallic contacts facing towards the backside of the player. To take out the card, push the card slightly into the case. After it is ejected partially you can take it out. Note: Do not remove the microSDTM card when it is exchanging data with the computer. Do not remove the microSDTM card when the player is reading contents from the microSDTM card. Otherwise, it could cause the deadlock of the player, even lost of data. Please pause the playing first and then take out the microSDTM card safely.

Using the Music Function Menu
The music function menu allows you to manage all factors of listening, such as repeating tracks, selecting equalizers, and so on. Press the FUNC button while listening to music. The music function menu appears on the screen. Press the + or button to search a menu item. Press the button to confirm the selection. Press button to go back to the previous screen. Proceed as described in the section Basic Operation. Note: After finishing the music setting, press the FUNC button to exit the music setting menu.

Using Music Finder

1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. 2. Execute the Mufin_MusicFinder_xxx.exe file in the CD. 3. Follow the instructions from the pop-up windows to complete the

installation.

4. Restart the computer. 5. Double click MusicFinder in My computer to open it. Once
opened, click on Import to have your database created automatically. Now select the folder from which a database should be created. Once this is done, all you have to do is click on Import. 6. After it is finished, connect your player to the PC, copy all the files on the folder to the Root folder of you player. 7. Turn on the player, then enter music playback interface, and play a song generated by MusicFinder. 8. Press FUNC button to enter music function menu. Press + or button to select All Songs, and then select Music Finder. 9. All songs relate to the song which is playing are displayed. Use or to select a song and then press to play it.

Lyrics

The player supports MP3 lyrics display. Note: The lyrics format has to be.LRC. The name of the lyrics file and the name of the music file have to be equal. Lyrics files have to be in the same folder as the associated music files.

Converting Video to MTV Format (VideoConverter.exe)
This player supports the playback of videos in MTV format. Other formats (AVI, WMV, MEPG1, Quick Time, MPEG2, RealMedia, MPEG4, 3GP) must be converted to MTV format. The MTVVideo Converter is supplied on the CD to enable you to convert the other formats to MTV format.

1. Insert the provided

CD to the CD-ROM drive of your computer. 2. Double-click the file Video Conveter. exe in the folder MTVVideoConverter of the CD. The Video Converter window appears.

The volume adjustment is not available during recording.

Recording can be stopped and resumed at any time by pressing. Press to save the recording and return to voice recording interface. Note: The recorded files are saved in the VOICE folder of the MP3 player as WAV files (format: MIC0000X.WAV). Voice recording is automatically stopped when the memory of the player is full or the battery power is no longer sufficient. Data that has been already recorded is automatically saved. Before starting the recording, you can set the recording quality (SETUP/Recording Setting).

Reading an E-Book

This player only supports E-Book in TXT format. Other formats must be saved as TXT format before transfer. 1. Press and hold until the main menu is displayed. 2. Use oder to select E-BOOK and confirm with. The E-book list appears on the screen. 3. Select a folder or a.txt file with the or button and confirm the selection with to open the folder or view the selected file. 4. Press button to return to the previous screen. While reading an E-Book, you can: Auto paging: Press button to start auto paging for every 4 seconds. Page Up/Down: Press or button to page up/down. Fast browse Press and hold or button to fast browse. Exit: Press button to go back to the previous screen. E-Book function menu: Press FUNC button to enter E-Book function menu. Use or button to choose a percentage, and then press , it will move to approximate page of the E-Book according to the percentage.

Save and Load a bookmark

This function helps you to save the page you have read and recall it to continue reading next time. While reading an E-Book, press and hold FUNC button to enter Bookmark List.

Prior to upgrading the player you should check in the download area of the TEAC website www.teac.de if there are newer versions of the firmware available for your player. Step 1: Decompressing files you could find picture 1

Troubleshooting
Problem Cannot power on. The LCD displays nothing when the device is started. Possible Cause Battery is too low. Solution Charge the battery.

Battery is too low.

Charge the battery. Press and hold to deactivate the lock function. Re-initialize player (press reset hole with metal pin). Adjust the volume. Delete or skip the file. Clean the plug. Delete or skip the file. Set in Setup/Language correct language. Check if the USB cable is correctly connected and in good condition. Delete files which were not longer needed. Make sure the video file is converted to MTV format with the provided converter tool. Skip it or reload another file Try to use an image editor.
The keys are locked. The buttons do not work. Player "hangs". No sound when playing an audio file. Noisy reproduction The words of LCD display abnormality. The volume is too low. Bad audio file.
