THE COMPANY
Originally founded in 1958 near Lyon, France, in 1992 TECHNIBEL joined the AER.FI group (based near Milan), a leader in the air-conditioning, heating and air treatment industry.
Production
The products made by our group are manufactured in Italy, France, Japan and China. The facilities at Gallarate (Italy) and Reyrieux (France) cover a total area of 82,000 m2, 50,000 m2 of which is under cover. Manufacturing can be transferred between the two sites in order to fully satisfy our customers and to minimise delivery times. Each product is subjected to stringent checks and testing, carried out using sophisticated equipment under the supervision of the Product Quality department.

We are proud to announce that two Technibel product ranges have been awarded certification based on NF-POMPE A CHALEUR (NF 414) requirements: - the PHR range for 30/35C applications - the PHRT range for 40/45C and */55C applications This means that the technical features of these products conform to NF-PAC requirements, and that the entire quality system implemented during their manufacture has been assessed and verified on the basis of these requirements (www.certita.org). For 50 years, TECHNIBEL has designed, manufactured and marketed heat pumps, continuously striving to improve their performance and quality.
High temperature
PHTJ and PHT on/off
Capable of heating water in the heating circuit to 65C (PHTJ 14 and 19) or 60C (PHT 13/16) operating at outdoor temperatures as low as -16C, they operate in HEATING mode only. They can also be used to generate domestic hot water (Technibel offers a DHW kit with a 300-litre or 500-litre tank - 1 radiator zone solution).
Medium temperature

These heat pumps generate water at a maximum temperature of 55C in HEATING mode. IN COOLING mode, the maximum/minimum temperature of the water generated is +20C/+5C. They can operate at -16C in Heating mode and +43C in Cooling mode (outdoor temperature).

For these models, the maximum temperature of the water generated is: +40C in Heating mode. These heat pumps are especially suited to UNDERFLOOR HEATING/COOLING applications. Operation to -16C in Heating mode and +43C in Cooling mode (outdoor temperature).

Technibel heat pumps are designed specifically for this application: they optimise the operation of existing fossil fuelfired systems. The heat pump takes priority as long as its output is optimised. Below a specific temperature, the heat pump stops operating and the boiler intervenes to satisfy the heating requirements; in any case, the boiler is used to generate domestic hot water. This significantly reduces fossil fuel consumption.

Description of the application The heat pump can operate independently or may be assisted by an electric heating source (MCE module) if installed in areas where the outdoor temperature drops to a level that causes the heat pump to operate less efficiently. Terminal units The various models offer a wide range of options, which means the appearance of each room remains the same: they can be wallmounted, floor-standing or built into false MPW ceilings or into fixtures and fittings. Each terminal unit has a dust filter. The active charcoal filter (in certain models) deodorises the air in the room. In summer the terminal units eliminate excess humidity.
