As others have indicated, replacing the ink cartridges, no matter how carefully, can result in the puncture of the circuitry behind the cartridges. I bought this printer a couple of years ago because it had an ethernet interface (meaning I could print remotely) and because it was supposed to work ... We have purchased a couple dozen of these over the last year and a half or so, for a school district.

I have used a HP printer Workforce 310 for 1 year. It works better than I thought, and also better than the printers of other brands I used before.

Would recommend it so far. It is just as good as my last HP, at half the size. Have not used it heavily yet, so can't judge its durability. If you are looking for a reasonably priced printer that produces quality prints, you've found it! Simple, Price is right, efficient.

Editorial

Ladies and Gentlemen, 2006 went by in a flash. Technibel have announced two-figure growth (35 %) and it is above all thanks to you that we have been able to achieve this result. Our imagination always encourages us to create new solutions for your comfort and which are more economical with regard to the environment. A considerable amount of power continues to be wasted in Europe, either by using inefficient technology or because of uneconomical patterns of consumption. In 2007, we want to have an eco-industrial approach to the residential market in order to provide you with the best solutions for air/ air or air/water, which reduce power consumption and which draw a major part of the power necessary for heating from air. We are also very pleased about our implementation of the European directive to recycle electrical and electronic equipment which aims to better protect the environment. We have decided to become a partner in Eco-Systems, one of the 4 approved organizations responsible for coordinating the recycling of waste from electrical and electronic equipment. Our range of solutions for the residential market offers major new things both concerning products and services with the putting into service included in the cost of the equipment and the inception of the 1-2-3 guarantee, which you will find in the catalogue. Your loyalty is our reward. Thank you. The Technibel Team

GENERAL INFORMATIONS

THE ENTREPRISE
Founded in 1958 near Lyon, France, TECHNIBEL joined air-conditioning, heating and air treatment leader, the AER.FI group (based near Milan, Italy), in 1992.

Production

Group products are manufactured in France, italy and Japan. The facilities in Reyrieux (France) and Gallarate (Italy) cover a total surface of 82,000 sq.m. approximately 50,000 sq.m. of which is roofed. Each sites production capacity is optimized to satisfy our clients and reduce delivery times to a minimum. Each product is subjected to a very specific control and to tests by highly-developed machines supervised by the Product Quality department.

Research and Development

The Engineering and Design departments and the Test Laboratories in France and Italy, to develop new products using the most advanced technologies providing comfort to people and being environmentally friendly.

Sustainable Development

Our objective is to always offer more products and systems which allow the reduction of power consumption (both fossil fuels and electrical power) as well the emission of greenhouse gas. This is the case for appliances that use the R 410 A or the R 407 C, with DC Inverter technology, or air/water or air/air heat pumps which have very high coefficients of performance. Together, we contribute to achieving the national objectives.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES

Quality
In december 2005, Technibel obtained the replacement of the certification according to the standard EN ISO 9001 : 2000. Meet the requirement of our final customer and daily perform ourselves are two of our main objectives in the company.

THE EUROPEAN SPECIFICATIONS AND DIRECTIVES
The CE marking, which was created as part of European legislation, permits the free movement of manufactured products throughout the EEC, and constitutes a guarantee of product safety and installation.
The product ranges presented in this catalogue have the CE label. This indicates that they comply with: the Electromagnetic Compatibility directive 89/336 CEE, amended by 92/31/CEE and 93/68/CEE the Low Voltage directive 73/23/CEE, amended by 93/68/CEE the Pressure Equipment directive no. 97/23/CE. The directive on Energy Consumption of Air Conditioners for Domestic Use no. 92/75/CEE-2002/31/CE (Standard EN 14511). This directive concerns direct expansion devices with a cooling capacity under 12 kW. She is designed to provide a very clear classification of devices according to their energy efficiency (from "A = economical device" to "G = uneconomical device"), with the purpose of economizing the electricity consumed in the European Community, and generally to give the consumer more information (on noise levels, etc.). Products in this catalogue currently meet two new European directives, according to generally accepted interpretations: Directive WEEE/DEEE (2002/96/EC) regulates domestic electrical waste recycling Directive ROHS (2002/95/EC) regulates the removal of some harmful substances from electrical and electronic components. For finished products sold in France and concerned by the Directive for waste from electrical and electronic equipment, since 15.11.06., the Eco-Participation Tax is specified on estimates, acknowledgement of receipt of orders and invoices. We are a partner in Eco-Systems.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS AND SERVICES
NOISE LEVEL : SOUND POWER AND SOUND PRESSURE
It goes without saying that air conditioning has to meet human requirements in matters of thermal comfort, health and acoustic comfort. All customers are looking for the quietest machine; the difficulty is how to compare the "noise levels" provided by the makers. The noise level of a machine is defined by two measurements:

Sound power

an objective measure made in accordance with standards in force under nominal operating conditions. This is a characteristic of the machine. The comparison of the sound power for equivalent machines (similar in type and power) is strongly recommended before taking any decision.
140 dB Seuil de la douleur

Sound pressure

is calculated on the basis of sound power according to the following formula: Lp = Lw + 10 x log [(Q/4 x x d2) + (4/R)]. This is not a characteristic of the machine, but the result of a calculation. The calculation formula takes into account the capacity of the elements situated around the machine to reflect and absorb sound. Sound pressure is an estimated value. It does not therefore commit Technibel to any specific final result.

100 dB Marteau piqueur

Musique techno
As the number of decibels obtained does not correspond to the noise experienced when the apparatus is installed in a living environment (flat, office, shop, etc.), each manufacturer use to calculate and to provide a sound pressure value.

Furthermore, results will differ according to the distance between the apparatus and the point of measurement. Technibel indicates sound pressure at the following distances: - at 2 m for indoor units (Direct Expansion range and Water range); many manufacturers give this measurement at 4 m, thus obtaining a lower sound pressure value - at 4 m in unenclosed space for outdoor units - at 10 m in unenclosed space for chilled water units

They can be installed in false ceilings to hide the feed piping, thus leaving the wall space completely clear. The CWX 3 BE and CWX 5 BE models are fitted with an electric heating element.
This cassette model is particularly discreet: in fact, its dimensions (600 x 600) match those of the panels used in false ceilings. These cassette models are supplied as standard with an air vent on the coil and a condensate drain pump. A pre-drilled hole ( 70 mm) is provided for the connection of a fresh air inlet.
Cooling or heating for systems with 2/4 pipes. Fan with integrated filter (filter can be regenerated).
