MAKE SURE THE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL SOCKET BEFORE CLEANING 1. Tip out any remaining chocolate from the bowl. 2. Wipe the bowl with kitchen paper, then clean with a damp cloth and dry completely. 3. Clean the auger and auger column thoroughly.

Never immerse the base of the unit in water or any other liquid. Do not use the unit in or near water. Never use abrasive cleaning agents. Never leave the unit unattended while in use. When not using the unit for a long period, please ensure it is disconnected from the main power supply. Never use the unit if the power cord is damaged. A damaged cord should only be replaced by our service department using special tools. Keep the unit away from children. Do not place the unit on extremely hot surfaces. U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code: BLUE NEUTRAL BROWN LIVE GREEN/YELLOW EARTH As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red. The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is used, a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
