Elements in bold correlate with the controls on your camera. Please see pages 20-21 of the Toshiba Instruction Manual for the specific location of controls. 1. Turn the camera on by rotating the Mode Dial to Av. Press the Up/Down Arrows on the Function/Enter Button to select the numerically highest f-stop possible. We recommend an f-stop of at least f5.6. Interior shots or other low light situations may require the use of a tripod. 2. Make sure the flash is off by checking for the Suppressed Flash icon in the upper right of the LCD monitor. The Flash Button is the left most button located below the Status Display on top of the camera 3. Set Image Quality/Size to Fine (Three Stars)/Full with the Image Quality Button which is the center button located below the Status Display on top of the camera. Full will appear above Three Stars in the upper right of the LCD monitor. 4. Set the SELF-TIMER by pressing the SELF-TIMER button which is the right most button located below the Status Display on top of the camera. The clock icon will appear on the right side of the LCD monitor. 5. Set MACRO Mode by pressing the Macro/Info button which is located below the Function/Enter button on the back of the camera. The flower icon will appear on the bottom left of the LCD monitor. 6. Use the Zoom Switch to just fill the LCD screen with the Egg image. The image may not be centeredthis is normal. You may need to adjust White Balance, Exposure , ISO, or other settings dependent upon the requirements of the situation. Some settings will remain selected when the camera is shut off, others will need to be reset each time the camera is turned on. All other settings are factory default.
