This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following station(s): KXLN-DT/ KFTH-DT and Communities of License and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations, and posted on their websites, if they have websites. The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning April 1, 2010 to and including March 31, 2011 (the Applicable Period). The FCCs 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information: 1. Appendix 3 to Annual EEO Public File Report Covering the Period from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011 Station(s) Comprising Station Employment Unit: KXLN-DT/KFTH-DT Section 3: Supplemental (Non-Vacancy Specific) Recruitment Activities Undertaken by KXLNDT/KFTH-DT KXLN-DT and KFTH-DT have established an Internship Program through which we provide the opportunity for students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning and who are interested in pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism or Television Production to practice or acquire the skills needed for employment in the broadcast industry. The Internship Program is a year-round supervised opportunity for the student to work alongside professionals in the News and Production industry. We also offer internships in Public Affairs/ Promotion Department. The program is an on-hands experience for the intern outside the classroom setting.
