This X-PRESS 300 will charge AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. This charger will charge 2 or 4 AA/AAA and 1 9V batteries of the same type at the same time. Will charge both Ni-Cd & Ni-MH technologies. Charging times are controlled by a timer which switches to trickle charge after charging (except 9V). When Charging AA & AAA sizes : indicators lights glow green at the beginning of the charge and extinguishes when the charge is complete. When charging 9V sizes - indicator lights glow green at the beginning of the charge and remain green.

The batteries should be inserted (take care to observe polarity) in quantities of 2 or 4 pieces for AA/AAA and 1 piece for 9V. (If there is only 2 batteries place them in the front or back of the charger). Do not mix battery types : charge only Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. To charge AAA batteries, ip down the contact brackets before inserting the batteries.
CHARGE AND END OF CHARGE FOR AAA & AA SIZE BATTERIES
As the charger is connected to the mains, the appropriate LED light will illuminate indicating that charging has commenced. The LED indicator light marked front represents the charge status of the batteries placed in the front of the charger, and the LED indicator light marked back represents the charge status of the batteries placed in the back of the charger. When charge time has elapsed, the charger automatically stops the charge process. The indicator light extinguishes indicating that charging is complete and that the charger has switched to a maintenance charge.
CHARGE AND END OF CHARGE FOR 9V
When charging 9V batteries, place the battery on the front of the charger into the plugs for 9V batteries while observing polarities. The light indicator inside the front battery compartment indicates the charge status of the 9V battery. When charging a 9V battery, the charger does not switch off automatically and the LED light concerned will remain illuminated, therefore needs to be switched off manually.
