The MX-950 is slim and sleek but packs enough power to totally control and automate hundreds of devices throughout your home. Its fully scalable, so its perfect for use as a Master Remote for large systems with complex home theaters and many secondary systems throughout the house. Ergonomically sculpted for easy one-hand operation, the MX-950 provides activity based menus. Simply press the WATCH button to see a list of what you can watch (TV, DVD, DVR, and so on). When you feel like listening to music, simply press the LISTEN button to reveal your audio options. Its entertainment made simple.
COMPLETE CONTROL
Your professional installer can create custom labels for every menu page, including the intuitive WATCH and LISTEN menus. The MX-950 has a unique shape that fits comfortably in either hand. Its powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that provides long life even with heavy use. And unlike some other battery types, it has no memory so the MX-950 can be kept on the charger at all times without degrading the battery. The charger base indicates when the battery is charging or fully charged. An internal motion sensor detects any movement of the MX-950 and automatically turns on the menu backlight. The menu screen area is backlit for easy viewing even in total darkness. And the hard-buttons are lighted, too, for convenient use in dim light. The MX-950 even has a built-in speaker, so your installer can program it to signal the end of a automation routine with a beep, a tune or recorded speech!
MRF-300 Multi Zone RF Base Station
Your system becomes complete when you add at least one MRF-300 Base Station. It includes a controller and moveable antenna and allows your installer to hide the wires and fine tune the system for perfect remote control performance. The Aurora achieves a magnificent combination of power and flexibility, simplifying and automating operation of even the most complex system via its virtually unlimited memory. Up to 255 devices can be created with up to 255 pages per device. This allows custom interfaces to be created for every room and every user, complete with automated favorite channels and stations. The Aurora is equipped with a bright easy to read LCD screen, which your installer will customize for your system. The screen labels the ten hard buttons (easy to find by feel) positioned on either side of the screen. Your installer can combine two buttons to create a single row that can be accessed by either adjacent button. This simplifies operation for the entire family and enables convenient operation for both left and right-handed users. In addition, the screen can be "split" so each button is allocated to a specific function. This provides the power user with the ability to see and operate up to 10 functions on a single screen. The integral motion sensor detects any movement of the remote control and automatically backlights the screen. You do not have to press any button to display the screen. Any movement of the Aurora renews the backlighting. The Aurora incorporates a small speaker for sound playback. Your professional installer may use this speaker to signal the end of a sophisticated automation routine with a beep, a tune or even recorded speech... The Aurora's lithium ion battery can be used without rules. The battery does not retain a "memory" like other rechargeable batteries and can be kept in the charger base for any length of time. The Aurora's WATCH and LISTEN buttons display the activities you can control with your Aurora. When you want to watch something else (a DVD movie, a videotape or an HDTV broadcast), simply press the WATCH button and select the new activity. When you want to listen to the radio or to a CD, touch the LISTEN button and select what you would like to listen to.
