In January 2009 listing, targeting high-end commercial graphic design, fashion design. My whole life I was a PC user. I never had many complaints. Then a few months ago I had to start using the MacBook Pro for work. I love it.

I upgraded to the MacBook Pro (MBP) from a PowerBook G4. The MBP offers a few new features, like the built-in iSight and the multi-touch trackpad.

Overall this is one of the better laptops I h...  The screen brightness, lit keyboard, trackpad. There is no comparison with the PC/Windows and a MacPro they are different in many respects, and perhaps similar with some. The Mac is fast. Great Computer. would not own anything else.... well maybe the new G series!! Fast, simple, elegant, eco-friendly, you name it.

Digital and Anlalogue Bus (switchable) 6-Disc Magazine 4 Times Over-sampling 2x 1-bit-D/A Converter Anti-Vibration-Mechanism Small dimension Various Installation Possibilities
UART Analogue/Digital 6-Disc CD-Changer

MP3 and WMA Decoder

The enhanced CD-Changer is compatible with regular shaped 12cm discs in CD Audio, CD-R and CD-RW format, but also capable of playing CDs containing MP3 and WMA files. If available, ID3 Tag and WMA Text such as Directory, Artist, Album and Title can be displayed. Copy protected CDs which do not comply with international audio CD standarts (Red Book) may not be supported.

Anti-Vibration-Mechanism

The Anti-Vibration-Mechanism in this CD-Changer ensures that the CDChanger plays in all kinds of driving conditions. This system protects the CD and the CD-Changer, thus resulting in guaranteed maximum listening pleasure all the time.
Various Installation Possibilities
Thanks to the very small dimensions (254 x 63 x 157 mm) and the various mounting angles (0-90), easy installation is possible almost anywhere in the car. Only one cable connection is needed between the head unit and the CD- Changer.
Digital and Analogue Bus (switchable)
The analogue and digital switch option allows for the connection of this CD-Changer to all VDO and VDO Dayton head units which support the CD-Changer Control function. Default factory setting is digital.

6-Disc Magazine

This changer has all the functions and features it takes to put hours of digital quality CD sound. The 6 discs are loaded in a magazine which can easily be exchanged by using the eject button on the changer itself. A sliding door prevents the ingress of dust.
4 times Over-sampling: 2x 1-bit-D/A Converter
The identification and over-sampling of occurring radio interferences always ensures a crsytal clear sound. Through the use of a D/A converter (Digital-Analogue converter) for the left and the right channel, this prevents the CD-Changer interferences that emerge through phase differences in the stereo signal.

How does the navigation system work?
The position and movements of the vehicle are recorded by the navigation systems sensors. The distance travelled is determined by the vehicle speedometer signal, rotary motion in bends is detected by a gyro sensor (inertial compass). The position is determined via the GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites. The position can be calculated within a range of approx. 10 m by comparing the sensor signals with the digital map on the navigation CD.
Important notes on the function of your navigation radio
In principle, the system is functional with poor GPS reception, although the accuracy of the positioning may be impaired by poor or interrupted GPS reception or errors can occur in the determination of the position, which result in incorrect position reporting.

Start-up characteristics

If the vehicle is parked for longer periods of time, the satellites continue their orbit. After the ignition is switched on, it may take several minutes until the navigation system receives signals from sufficient satellites for evaluation.
During the start-up sequence, it is possible that the navigation system will report: You are leaving the digitised area. The navigation system assumes that the vehicle is not located on a digitised road. If other roads exist in this area, the navigation system may issue incorrect messages. The navigation system assumes that the vehicle is located on another road.

Comments

After transport of the vehicle by train or ferry, the navigation system may require a few minutes for exact positioning. After disconnecting the vehicle battery, up to 15 minutes may be required for exact positioning. For this, the vehicle must be outdoors and the system must be switched on in order to receive transmissions from the GPS satellites.

The digital road map

To be able to plan a route to a destination address, the navigation system not only requires the current position of the vehicle but also a digital road map containing the destination address itself and the roads leading to the destination address. This digital road map is on the map CD which you insert into the navigation computer. The road system is stored on the map CD as a line model, i.e. even large junctions have

Real road network

Digital line model
only one focal point that is approached by all roads in point-to-point fashion. Thus the navigation system indicates the distance to the turn-off point as the distance to the centre of the junction. This is why the distances for motorway exits indicated on road signs may not agree with those of the navigation system. The road signs indicate the distance to the beginning of the exit.

Displaying radio text (FM only)
