Check the online schedule for seminars dates and registration information. Not every seminar is scheduled at all times. Vi 101 Introduction to

Prerequisite: None Duration: Course Outline: 2-day. This 2 day seminar will be benificial to you if you are new to Viessmann or havent been to Viessmann for a while. We will examine every product offered from Viessmann in North America. From the Vitogas 050 to the Vitocrossal 300, from Vitotronic 100 controls to Versitronik 200 controls, from Vitosol 200 to Vitocell 300, from Pyrot to Pyrtec. You will understand what product fits what job and why Viessmann is the logical, effiient and quality choice when looking for heating technology with water.

Vi 102 Vitosol

Prerequisite: Duration: Course Outline: None, recommended prerequisite- Vi101 Introduction to Viessmann 1 - Day. This 1-day seminar provides the basic concepts and ideas to understand and install Viessmann Solar Thermal Technology. Vi102 is designed to provide the foundations of Solar Thermal Technology. If heating water with the sun is a market you want to capture, you need to attend this seminar. What applications make sense for Solar Thermal system? Is it better to use Flat Plate or Vacuum Tube collectors? How many collectors are required? How and where can I mount the collectors? How do I size the piping and pump? What other system components are required? How do I avoid over heating? Get the answer to those and other questions from a company who has been in the Solar Thermal business since the mid 1970s. We will discuss the dos and donts of system design and installation for the Viessmann Solar Thermal product line. At the completion of this seminar you will be equipped to sell and install residential and small commercial Viessmann Solar Thermal System.

Duration: Course Outline:
1-day. Whether you have been in the hydronic business for years or are new to the industry, you need to know the differences between high temperature designs, like cast iron and the new Vitodens condensing technolgy to get the most efficiency out of your installation. This seminar will cover the differences between non-condensing and condensing heating systems. You will learn options for modifying existing system to get the best efficiency possible when you upgrade to a Vitodens condensing boiler. Mixing valves, Pumps, Delta Ts, Primary secondary piping designs, and Venting, will all be covered. We will discuss the exciting advantages of the Vitodens 200 WB2Bs Lambda Pro Intelligent Combustion Management System. The goal is to make your Vitodens condensing boiler project as effiient as possible by looking at the whole picture, and making logical choices.

VD2 / VD2A Application and Installation
1-day. This seminar will address how Viessmann looks at higher temperature non condensing technology and why we do things differently than some other high mass boiler manufacturers. Cast iron boilers still have a firm place in the hydronic heating world. This seminar will address high mass cast iron boilers and steady state efficiency. We will look at control stradegies for cast iron systems including return water protection and distribution for cast iron boilers. Some of the questions we will address: How do I protect my boiler from condensing. What is return water protection and how is it achieved. Can I combine condensing and non-condensing boilers in the same plant. What are my venting choices. How do I know the correct burner to choose. These and other topics will be discussed to give you a clear understanding of how cast iron boilers are and should be applied in a modern heating world.

You will learn options for modifying existing system to get the best efficiency possible when you specify from new or upgrade to a Vitocrossal condensing boiler. Mixing valves, pumps, Delta Ts, Primary secondary and hybrid piping designs will all be covered. We will discuss how control strategies need to be re examined for the condensing boiler. The goal is to make your commercial condensing boiler project as efficient as possible by looking at the whole picture, and making logical choices.

Prerequisite: Duration: Course Outline: Vi 101 Introduction to Viessmann, 1-day. Anyone who is selling, installing, commissioning or servicing Vitola 200, Vitogas 050, 100, or Vitorond 100, boilers with the NR1 series Vitotronic controls will benefit from this seminar. This new seminar will give you the competitive advantage by teaching you how to understand and program the Viessmann NR1 series Vitotronic 100, 200, 300 residential and small commercial boiler and system controls. You will learn the concepts behind outdoor reset control theory and see how it applies to comfort, efficiency and energy savings in a modern boiler plant. At the completion of the course you will understand Viessmanns heating curve strategy and gain the knowledge to program the correct parameters required for commissioning the Vitotronic boiler and system controls. Prerequisite: Duration: Course Outline: Vi102 or 202 Solar Thermal Technology 1 - Day. This 1-day seminar will give you the insight required to keep your solar projects operating as they are designed to throughout the life of the system. Just like any other mechanical equipment, solar systems require routine maintenance to keep them operating at their peak efficiency. This seminar is designed to help you keep them running as they were designed to. Some of the topics covered will be: Looking for red flags. What service is required? How do I know if the glycol is still good? How often does the glycol need to be replaced? How can I tell if my collector is still obtaining the solar energy it was design to? Servicing the Divicon.
