Introduction This yacht was designed and built for circumnavigating the world. Though built in 1984, the concept is as today: A V-shaped hull with a deep hydraulic centreboard and an elevated spacious pilothouse, with a view. The owner made a successful smooth round Atlantic in 2006. A booklet of this trip is available. The ship can be easily sailed single or by a couple Now for sale due to health reasons. In 2002/2003 there has been an extensive refit. Apart from the main engines EVERYTHING has been renewed. Costs were 350.000 euro. All bills are available. All original drawings are available, as well as all manuals of each piece of equipment.

General The design of this yacht happens to represent todays concept. A V-shaped hull with a narrow deep and ballasted electric hydraulic centreboard. The top of this centreboards trunk is the floor of the main saloon thus being elevated. It is spacious and with 8 windows very light The two (!) engines are on either side of this trunk. All weight is therefore positioned in the centre. This makes the movement in sea an easy one. The hull is built to very strong standards. Rib and stringers on every 35 CM Aluminium 8 mm. Deck is 6 and superstructure is 5 mm. Deck is covered with (new) tredmaster. The safest anti-slip one will find. All windows and hatches has been renewed in 2003 and are complying with the white rules (seagoing passengerships). The hull and transom are well designed. The 13,50 mtr waterline length gives it 8 knots hull speed. The distance per day is 140 to 185 miles. Stability range is positive until135 degrees and meets the white rules standard. There is a stability booklet of Tebica Fuel capacity in two tanks is 1500 liters. Water in two tanks is 1600 liters Sump capacity is 80 liters grey and 80 liters black water. It lasts for three days. Oil tank 75 liters. Bilge oil tank 75 liters. Hydraulic wheel steering. Emergency steering through ropes on the rudder plus hydraulic bypass. Two separate hydraulic autopilots are in place. Accommodation Classic mahogany interior, recently egg-shell varnished. Three cabins 6 berths. One berth is in a hall way and one in the saloon. Two cabins have their own head and shower. To shower the floor must be opened to get access to the shower floor with drain. There are lockers in every cabin. There is ample lockers and 10 real sea chart drawers in the saloon. Here one will find the chart table and office. Also the entertainment area with multisystem tv, digitenne, dvd-player and stereo radio. Good corner-shaped settee and two easy chairs. The galley is spacious. There is a fridge (barco, water cooled) and a freezer that can be set either to fridge either to freezer. Cooking is on 220 Volts. Microwave/hot air oven, rice cooker, bread baking machine, toaster, tosti machine, extensive crockery, extractor fan, no wine glasses. The headway is 1.95. But in the galley and in the owners head/shower the headway is 1.75. Cold and warm water from electrical water pressure system and a hand pump, in case. Hot air heating from Whispertech heat and power sterling engine (the real one from New Zealand). Each berth has a controlled fan. Nice and necessary in the Caribean. Machinery There are two Volvo Penta TMD 31 engines 100 horsepower each. New stainless steel propeller shafts, new water greased bearings, new Maxprop vane propellers and new Python flexible thrust bearings. Ventilation is achieved with two (in/out) controlled Marathon radial ventilators. A central service pump with a diaphragm pump and a rotating pump for bilges, waste water, deck pump, fire pump and general pump, all controlled with a manyfold. There is a Whispertech sterling engine producing 750 watts power and appr 6000 watts of heat with no noise, consuming only 750 grams of diesel per hour. A KVA diesel generator. Double, switchable Racar filters on main engines and the generator. The system is 24/220 V. Each main engine has an extra 50 amps alternator. In the electrical circuit there are two 2500W Victron combis. All wiring and central electrical lockers are new. Diagrams are in place. Shore power with separation transformer and corrosion control is in place. Batteries 4/200, 2/150 are from 2005. For firefighting equipment there is a Nitrogen injection system, a 5 KG, triple A, foam extinguisher,
three 1 KG powder extinguishers, water hose and deckwash hose. Supradyn water maker 6 liters per hour. Navigation Magnetic Plath and Classen compass. JRC professional radar with 4 feet scanner and MARPA, class 2 AIS, Windset, Echo-sounder, Log, Autopilot hydraulic all Autohelm. A second Robertson auto pilot, both alternatively to switch on. GPS. Two handheld GPS for back-up. Professional heavyduty computer with Maxsea and many more navigational and routeing software. Bearing compass, skipper binoculars with bearing compass, spare magnetic compass, Pro Freiberg sextant with tables and calculator. More than 120 charts. (British Admiralty as well as in paper as in digital (ARCS). Communication Glocall satellite phone, Icom DSC VHF, Icom VHF, Handheld Icom VHF. MF/HF Icom radio 150W, Pactor 3 modem for sailmail, Digitenne, Wifi antenne. Equipment Zodiac 4 person tender with 3,3 marine outboard. 50 kg Spade anchor, 30 KG CQR, 20KG CQR, 70 Meter of 10 mm chain, Falcon electrical anchor winch with remote. Solid safe railings, canvas covers for winches etc, 5 windscoops, 3 sun protection sails, a little one over the cockpit at sea, a bigger one at an anchorage and a large one over the whole ship. 8 life jackets, hypotherm overalls, Lifeguard liferaft, 6 ps ocean equipped, Epirb, SART, Horn, All navigational lights with LED-lamps, Lopolight 2X180 red over green sailing top lights. Lifelines, 2 bathing ladder, Dive airtanks compressor, life buoys, fenderd with soft covers, many many (spare) lines, over complete tools and tool sets, many many spare parts, cushions, seat on winch, small and bigger cockpit table, extensive first aid and medical supplies. Dive equipment and airtank compressor! Deck shower, warm and cold. Emergency aluminum hatches on all (ventilation) openings and entrance. Not for windows (10 mm lexaan) Persons movement alarm. Everything is in place for comfortable blue water cruising. Rigging Cutter rigged Ketch. All fixed stainless steel rigging and running rigging has been renewed in 2003 executed by a professional rigging supplier. Alu masts and spars. Harken furling unit on yankee and jib. Main, 4 reefs and mizzen, 1 reef, both fully battened, both with Harken battcar system. Lazy jacks. Ivory coloured Polyant Dacron from System sails WG Lucas Portsmouth. All sails yearly stocked and checked by UB sail service. Main 450 gr 47 M2, Mizzen, 400 gr 15 M2, Yankee triradial, 410 gr 61, Jib,450 gr 35, twin genoas 2X 75, Spi 100 M2 with slurf, Mizzen staysail 54 M2, storm jib on third separate forestay 10 M2, Trysail on separate rail, 14 M2, storm triangle in after stay 3 M2 For every weather the crew will be able to set the best rigging for those conditions. Twin poles for passat jibs or a more stable spi. 8 winches (Barient and Andersen) of which 4 are electrical powered. All halyards and reefing lines go to the cockpit. Back stay on jib stay and on storm jib stay. Lewmar blocks. Mast steps in main mast. Overdimensioned rigging.
Summary An elaborate equipped ocean going yacht for comfortable, short handed, blue water cruising, in very good condition. Ready to leave for the big voyage. The concept of the design is todays with a V-shaped hull and a deep centreboard allowing you to enter shallow waters and beautiful bays. From the pilothouse the view can be enjoyed.
