works great, does the job works just fine, easy to set up and start using, comes ready to go. great gps for the price I was hesitant to order a GPS refurbished, but I did not want to spend a lot of money on it since they update so often.

I used to have maps scattered across the front seat of my vehicle while traveling. I always liked to know my approximate position. Now. A BETTER SPEAKER SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR THIS DOLLAR AMOUNT OF UNIT.ALSO BLUETOOTH SPEAKER SYSTEM IS TO SMALL AND GETS DISTORTED AND ECHOES.

You get what you pay for. Free traffic is nice, but not reliable AT ALL. Not the fastest processor I have seen in other Garmin products that I have owned but functional.

PC Connection sent my tracking number a few days after placing order. The merchandise was brand new and packaging was great. Got this prior to an out of town trip to an unfamiliar city. Very intuitive user interface. Voice prompts very clear and easy to understand.

POWER SOURCE

The VTech Non-Stop Girl learning product operates on 4 AA size batteries (UM-3/LR6) or a standard 9V 300mA AC/DC center-positive adaptor.

HOW TO INSTALL BATTERIES

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and open it. 3. Insert 4 AA batteries (UM-3/LR6) as illustrated. DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES in this unit. (The use of alkaline batteries is recommended for best performance.) 4. Close the battery cover.

BATTERY NOTICE

Install batteries correctly observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid leakage. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not use batteries of different types. Remove exhausted or new batteries from equipment when you are not going to use the unit for a long time. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
NOTE: If the unit suddenly stops working or the sound becomes weak, turn the unit off and remove the batteries. After several minutes, replace the batteries and turn the product back on. If the problem persists it may be caused by weak batteries. Please install a new set of batteries and try the unit again.

AC ADAPTOR CONNECTION

Use a standard 9V 300mA AC/DC center-positive adaptor. 1. Make sure the unit is OFF. 2. Locate the adaptor jack on the back of the unit. 3. Insert the adaptor plug into the adaptor jack. 4. Plug the adaptor into a wall outlet. 5. Turn the unit ON. NOTE: If the unit suddenly stops working or the sound seems weak, it may be the result of the adaptor connection. Turn the unit off and unplug the adaptor from the unit for several minutes. Next, plug the adaptor back in and turn the unit on. If the problem continues, please call our Consumer Services Department at 1-800-521-2010 in the U.S. or 1-800267-7377 in Canada.

MOUSE CONNECTION

CONNECT THE CURSOR MOUSE
STEP STEP STEP 1 : 2 : 3 : Turn OFF your VTech Non-Stop Girl. Plug the connector at the end of the mouse cable into the mouse jack at the back of the unit. Turn ON the VTech Non-Stop Girl. You may use the keyboard and/or the mouse to play the activities.

CURSOR MOUSE OVERVIEW

Cursor Buttons: Use these buttons to move the cursor left, right, up or down on the screen. The cursor buttons have the same function as the four cursor keys on the keyboard. Enter Button: Use this button to confirm an answer or action.

TURN THE UNIT ON/OFF

Turn on your VTech Non-Stop Girl learning product by pressing the ON button located on the upper right-hand corner of the keyboard. The unit will display an opening animation and go to Personal Data. Then you will automatically go to World Adventure. Turn the unit OFF by pressing the OFF button located next to the ON button.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

If there is no input into the VTech Non-Stop Girl learning toy for approximately 5 minutes, the unit will automatically shut off to save power. After the unit has automatically shut off, you will need to press the ON button again to restart the unit. We recommend that you turn the unit OFF when not playing with it. If the VTech Non-Stop Girl learning toy is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries and unplug the adaptor.

CONTRAST SWITCH

Use this switch to change the light/dark CONTRAST on the screen.

VOLUME SWITCH

Use this VOLUME switch to raise or lower the level of sound.

KEYBOARD DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS

ACTIVITY SELECTORS

The VTech Non-Stop Girl learning toy has four activity selectors on the left side of
the unit. Each has a different quick-access function. MY LAPTOP The My Laptop button is for accessing Personal Data. Here, you can modify your original personal data, or build a new personal databank. ACTIVITY MENU: Pressing the Activity Menu button will show a list of all built-in activities. Activities can be played in any order. WORLD ADVENTURE: Pressing the World Adventure button will send you on a whirlwind learning tour to different cities of the world. Each city contains several mind-challenging activities. The goal of World Adventure is to help the girl succeed in each city, so she can continue her travels to the next destination. Track your travels using your personal passport and stickers. Destinations include: Chicago, New York, Paris, London, Cairo, Hong Kong, Sydney and Amsterdam. After visiting all eight cities, the girl can relax on a tropical beach. The World Adventure will also automatically start when the VTech Non-Stop Girl is turned ON.

KEYBOARD

The VTech Non-Stop Girl learning product has a full QWERTY keyboard with 54 keys. It combines the operation of a standard computer keyboard with several other functions.

FUNCTION KEYS

Press this key to turn the unit on. Press this key to turn the unit off. Press this key to show a demonstration of an activity. Press this key to confirm your answer.
Press this key to delete a letter, number or musical note.

Press this key to repeat the voice instruction, word, question, picture, musical notes, etc.
In 1-player mode, press the HELP key to receive a hint. The HELP key is invalid for 2-player mode. This key indicates that Player 1 would like to answer the question. The Player 1 key can only be used when the unit is in the 2-player mode. This key indicates that Player 2 would like to answer the question. The Player 2 key can only be used when the unit is in the 2-player mode. Press this key to capitalize all letters without having to press the SHIFT key each time. Press once to activate. Press it again to cancel. Hold down the SHIFT key as you type letters to capitalize them.
Press the PLAYER key to access 1-player or 2-player mode.
The LEVEL key is used to change the skill level of some activities. Levels can be changed at any time during an activity.
Press the ANSWER key to get the answer to the question.
Press the LEFT CURSOR key to move the cursor to the left. Press the RIGHT CURSOR key to move the cursor to the right. Press the UP CURSOR key to move the cursor upward. Press the DOWN CURSOR key to move the cursor downward.

LETTER KEYS

Use the number keys when answering math or number related questions.

MUSIC KEYS

Musical symbols share the same keys as the numbers. Use these keys to play in the

music activities.

TO BEGIN PLAY
Press the ON button located on the upper right-hand corner of the keyboard. Enter or confirm your personal data and you will be launched into the World Adventure. If you would like to play a specific activity, the Activity Menu is also available. Press the LEVEL key to change the level of difficulty in any of the applicable activities. All activities begin in Level 1 unless you change the level. Press the PLAYER key to set either the 1 or 2-player modes where applicable. Activities always begin in the 1-player mode. To change activities, simply choose a new activity after pressing the Activity Menu button or press the World Adventure button to call out the activities of destination cities.

LEVELS

The VTech Non-Stop Girl learning product provides four levels of difficulty (one is the easiest, four is the most difficult) for added challenge and learning. When you have entered an activity you can change the level at any time by pressing LEVEL and typing in the level number that you want. NOTE: Because of their nature, some activities do not have levels.

2-PLAYER MODE

The VTech Non-Stop Girl learning toy provides fun-filled 2-player mode for many activities. When a question is displayed, the two players need to press their corresponding keys, PLAYER 1 or PLAYER 2, as quickly as possible in order to answer. The first person to press her player key gets to answer first. If the first player answers incorrectly, the other player receives a chance to answer. The HELP key does not work in the 2-player mode. A timer will also be set for the second player. If there is no input before times up, no score will be given or deducted. The answer will be shown automatically. NOTE: Because of their nature, some activities do not have 2-player mode.

SCORING

1-PLAYER MODE - There are 5 questions per round. In most activities, you have 3 chances to answer correctly. (Exceptions are Opposites, Word Difference, Sign Time, Add-Ons, Arrivals and Departures, Greater Than Less Than, Mind Reader and Mood Interpreter) The score is calculated in the following way: The player starts with no points. Correct answer on the first try Correct answer on the second try Correct answer on the third try Incorrect answer on the third try Press ANSWER at any time : 20 points : 10 points : 5 points : no points are awarded : no points are awarded : 15 points

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

LANGUAGE ARTS

1. Spell-O-Rama A picture will appear on the screen. The player must guess what the picture is and type the correct spelling of the word in the blanks. Press ENTER to confirm. 2. Missing Letters A picture will appear on the screen, then a word with one missing letter will be shown on the next screen. Fill the correct letter in the blank to make a word that corresponds with the picture and press ENTER to confirm. 3. Singulars & Plurals The screen will show a word on the top and some blanks on the bottom. Type in the singular or plural form of the word on the bottom blanks, then press ENTER to confirm. 4. Opposites A word will appear on the top of the screen and more words will scroll at the bottom. Choose the antonym of the word on the top, then press ENTER to confirm. 5. Tenses This activity focuses on the past tense. A verb will appear on the top of the screen. Type the correct past tense of the verb on the bottom blanks, and press ENTER to confirm. 6. Memory Challenge A word will be shown on the screen for a few seconds. Memorize the word, and when it disappears, fill in the blanks to spell it correctly and press ENTER to confirm. 7. Word Jumble There will be several letters shown on the top of the screen and several blanks on the bottom. Fill the letters in the blanks to make a word, then press the ENTER key to confirm. 8. Word Difference Three words will appear on the screen one after another. Two of these words belong together. Select the word that does not belong, and press ENTER to confirm. 9. Sentence Shuffle This activity is about building sentences. A complete sentence will scroll across the screen. Then the words will be mixed up. Choose the words in the correct order to make the sentence shown before. Each word needs to be confirmed by pressing ENTER.

MATHEMATICS

10. Sum It Up An addition problem will appear on the screen. Type in the correct answer using the number cursor keys to select the correct number, then keys on the keyboard, or use the press ENTER to confirm.

11. Minus Madness A subtraction problem will appear on the screen. Type in the correct answer using the number cursor keys to select the correct number, then keys on the keyboard, or use the press ENTER to confirm. 12. Sign Time cursor keys An equation will appear on the screen with a sign missing. Use the (all cursor keys will be used in levels 3 and 4) to select the sign that finishes the equation, then press ENTER to confirm. 13. Number Chain A logical series of numbers will appear on the screen but one number is missing from the sequence. Try to discover the pattern and fill in the missing number, then press ENTER to confirm. 14. Add-Ons An equation with one missing addend will be shown on the top of the screen. Three answer choices will appear below. Choose the correct addend from these three options by using the cursor keys or number key on keyboard, then press ENTER to confirm. 15. Number Balance A scale will appear with two numbers on one side, and a number and a blank on the other. Fill in the blank to balance the scale, then press ENTER to confirm. 16. Arrivals & Departures This activity is to determine which plane will be the first to leave. First a clock will show the current time. Then the sentence Which plane leaves first? will scroll out. and keys. Of the three given answers, select the correct answer by using the Press ENTER to confirm. 17. Greater Than Less Than The screen will show a scale with dots (in levels 1 and 2) or numbers (in levels 3 and and keys to select the appropriate comparison sign (<, >, =) and 4). Use the press ENTER to confirm. 18. Big Buyer This is your chance to go shopping! Use the cursor keys to choose an object from the screen, remember the price and press ENTER. Now select coins one at a time, pressing ENTER after each one. Press the ERASE key to clear your coins. When you have the right amount of money, select the icon to insert the coin(s) into the machine.

GIRL-POWERED ACTIVITIES

19. Love Calculator This activity tells you who is your best match. The sentence Are you xxxx? will appear for you to confirm or change your name. At the next screen type in a friends name and press ENTER. The love calculations will begin. The answer will appear in hearts - the more hearts, the more love between you!

20. Lucky Draw This activity will determine your lucky number and lucky color for the day. The girl on the left will tell you your lucky number while the girl on the right will give you your lucky color. Choose one of girls, then type todays date and press ENTER. Your lucky number or color will magically appear! 21. Horoscope Haven To find your horoscope, type in your birthday (month/date/year) in the blanks. Press ENTER to see your horoscope sign and fortune. 22. Club Hoppin A girl will stand on the middle of the screen. Use the four cursor keys to make the girl dance. When you press ENTER, the girl will perform her own routine for you. 23. Mind Reader A word describing a feeling or emotion will appear on screen. Next, three short scenes will play and a close-up of a girls face will be shown. Watch carefully. Choose the scene that matches the word, then press ENTER to confirm. 24. Mood Interpreter A girls picture with an emotional expression will be shown. Of the next three word choices, select the word that best describes that girls mood. Press ENTER to confirm.

MUSIC AND TYPING

25. Music Box In this activity, the player can use the cursor keys or number keys to play one of the eight built-in songs listed below: Can-Can The Wedding March By the Beautiful Sea Allouette 26. Type In Time This activity will help improve your typing skills. Some letters will appear on the screen. The unit will randomly highlight the letters that need to be typed until all the letters on the screen have been typed. Try to type as fast as you can! 27. Follow Me This activity tests your memory and musical skill. Three to six notes will be played. Try to remember them and press the music keys to replay the notes in the right order. 28. Instructions & Activities
BACKUP BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Unscrew the battery cover and push it aside as shown. 3. Insert a CR2032 battery as illustrated. 4. Replace the backup battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it. 5. To avoid damage to the unit from leaky batteries, replace the backup battery at least once a year.

BATTERY NOTICE

Be sure to install batteries correctly, observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid leakage. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not use batteries of different types. Remove the batteries from the toy if it will not be used for an extended period of time. Keep in mind that all saved password, money, and pet information will be erased. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.

AC ADAPTOR CONNECTION

Use a standard 9V 300mA AC center-positive adaptor. 1. Make sure the unit is OFF. 2. Locate the adaptor jack on the side of the unit. 3. Insert the adaptor plug into the units adaptor jack. 4. Plug the adaptor into a wall outlet. 5. Turn the unit ON.
Do not remove both the backup battery and the 3 "AA" batteries at the same time; otherwise, all saved password, money, and pet information will be erased.
In the U.S.A.: Many retailers carry this type of adaptor. However, if you are unable to find one locally, the VTech AC Adaptor is perfectly suited to operate your VTech Girl Fun PC. For information on how to purchase a VTech AC Adaptor, call our Consumer Services Department at 1-800-521-2010 in the U.S., or 1-800-2677377 in Canada.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. POWER ON/OFF BUTTON
Turn on your VTech Girl Fun PC by pressing the Power ON/OFF Button located on the top right of the keyboard. Press the button again to turn the unit off.
The money you earn by playing activities will be stored on the Virtual Debit Card. Remember to insert the Virtual Debit Card into the Girl Fun PC. Note: If you lose the card, you can use CARD as the password, and the unit will recall the information from your card.

3. MAGIC LIPSTICK PEN

The MAGIC LIPSTICK PEN is uniquely designed for the VTech Girl Fun PC. Use it to make selections on the LCD screen. When using the pen, touch the LCD screen lightly.

4. VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH

Slide the VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the left to raise the volume, and to the right to lower the volume.

LETTER KEYS

Use the Letter keys to type letters or words in activities such as Spelling and Typing Fun. NUMBER KEYS
Use the Number keys to type answers in math activities.

MUSIC NOTE KEYS

Use the Music Note keys in the music-related activities.

6. FUNCTION KEYS

ERASE KEY: Press the ERASE key to delete letters or numbers.
REPEAT KEY: Press the REPEAT key to hear game instructions. ANSWER KEY: Press the ANSWER key to see the correct answer to any question.
ENTER KEY: Press the ENTER key after you have typed or chosen the answer to a question.
DIGITAL PETSHOP KEY: Press the PetShop key to enter the Digital PetShop.
EMOTICONS KEY: Press the EMOTICONS key followed by a number key to see different emoticons.

7. CATEGORY KEYS

WORDS KEY: Press the WORDS key to select word and letter activities. 6

MATH KEY: Press the MATH key to select math activities.
LOGIC KEY: Press the LOGIC key to select logic activities.
GAME KEY: Press the GAME key to play fun games.

8. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

TO BEGIN PLAY
Turn on your VTech Girl Fun PC by pressing the ON key. The first time you play, you will be asked to create a 4 letter/digit password. Remember your password -- you will need it the next time you play. The categories WORDS, MATH, LOGIC and GAME will automatically toggle on the screen. To choose a category, touch it on the screen with the Magic Lipstick pen, or press the ENTER key. In the category menu, the activities title picture will scroll in automatically. To choose an activity, touch the LCD screen with the Magic Lipstick pen, or press the Enter key. Quick Access - Please see the table below.
Note: If you type an incorrect password three times in a row, you will be asked to create a new password.

If the VTech Girl Fun PC receives no input for about 4 minutes, it will automatically shut off to save power. To turn the unit back on, press the Power ON/OFF button.

1. Letter Pairs

A row of letters is shown across the top of the LCD screen. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to choose a letter from the top line and then find its match on the bottom line.
PetShop. Here you can use virtual money to buy digital pets and pet accessories. Click the up/down arrow icon to view the pets you already have. To buy a pet, click the animal icon at the bottom right. To buy accessories for your pet, click the ball icon on the top right.

2. Missing Letter

Remember the word shown on the screen. One of its letters will be missing. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to touch the missing letter on the screen, or type the missing letter on the keyboard.

3. Spelling

A picture will appear on the screen, followed by a word matching the picture. Be sure to note the spelling before the word disappears! Retype the word correctly to earn virtual money.

4. Typing Fun

Letters are falling down from the top of the screen - use the keyboard to type them as soon as you see them. The more letters you type before the time is up, the more money you can earn.

5. Letter Petals

Guess the word! Choose letters to fill in the blanks by using the Magic Lipstick pen or typing your selection on the keyboard. You can get a hint by touching the petals to show a picture. But look out - 8 seconds will be deducted from the time you have left.

6. Word Scramble

Look carefully at the word on the screen. Remember how its spelled, because the letters are about to get scrambled! Use the keyboard to type the letters in the correct order.

7. Opposites Attract

What is the antonym of the word on the top line? Choices will appear on the bottom line - when you see the correct one, touch it with the Magic Lipstick pen, or press ENTER.

8. Rhymen Time

Time for rhyming fun! Find the word that rhymes with the top word. When the word on the bottom rhymes with the word on top, select it by using the Magic Lipstick pen or by pressing the ENTER key.

9. Same Thing

Find the synonym of the word on the top line. When the bottom word is a synonym of the top word, use the Magic Lipstick pen to select it, or press the ENTER key.

10. Find the Vowel

How quick are you? Use the Magic Lipstick pen to pop the bubble with the vowel.

1. Counting Stars

Count the stars displayed on the screen. You can touch each one with the Magic Lipstick pen, or simply press the correct number of stars on the keyboard.

2. More or Less

Which number is bigger? Use the Magic Lipstick pen to select a symbol that correctly relates the numbers to each other. "<" means "is less than," ">" means "is more than," and "=" means "equals."

3. Odd or Even

Check out the top line of the screen - you will be asked for an odd or even number. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to select the correct number on the bottom line of the screen.

4. Number Balance

Balance the scale! Swap numbers on either side of the scale, until it is balanced. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click the two numbers you want to swap.

5. Season of the Year

Use the Magic Lipstick pen to scroll through pictures of seasons. When you see one that matches the word, touch it with the Magic Lipstick pen or press Enter.

6. Month Order

A month is shown on the top line - you must find the one that follows it. Choices will be shown on the bottom line - when you see the month that follows the top one, select it by using the Magic Lipstick pen, or press ENTER.

7. Equation Quiz

One of the numbers in the equation is missing. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to choose the number that completes the equation, or type the correct number on the keyboard.

8. Tic Toc Clock

Lets see if you can tell time! What time is it on the clock on the left side of the screen? Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the correct time on the right of the screen.

9. Math Path

The girl is lost in a maze! Guide her out by clicking on the path with the Magic Lipstick pen, in a special pattern that you will be given. Hurry - you only have 30 seconds! Remember, you can only take one step a time. If you land on a prize, you will get a $1 bonus for a flower and a $2 bonus for a star.

10. What Comes Next?

Look at the numbers on the screen. Follow the instructions and use the Magic Lipstick pen to touch the numbers in order from lowest to highest.

1. Twin Finder

The girl on the left has lost her twin sister. Can you help her? Other girls will scroll in and out on the right side of the screen. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the first girls twin.

2. Forget Me Not

Like to draw? Remember what the girl on the screen looks like, then draw her by using the Magic Lipstick pen. Click the top arrows to change her hairstyle and the bottom arrows to change her face. When you have drawn the correct picture, click on it with the Magic Lipstick pen, or press ENTER.

3. Pattern Power

4. Pair Up
Pairs of objects are shown on the screen. Remember the position of each pair before the pairs are all covered up. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the screen to find the objects by pair.

5. Hide & Seek

Three dogs run onto the screen; one of them has a bone! Remember which one had the bone, before he buries it and the dogs shuffle around. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click the dog that had the bone.
Check out the screen - the background lights will light up one after another in a certain order. When the lights stop lighting up, use the Magic Lipstick pen to follow the order you just saw.

6. Analogy Attack

Find an object on the right that is related to the object on the left. Scroll through your choices by clicking on the arrows with the Magic Lipstick pen. When you see the object you want, click on it or press the ENTER key.

7. Dancing Game

Look at how well that girl dances! Do you want to dance like that? Remember the girls dancing sequence, and use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the arms and legs of the character on the right, to follow the pattern.

8. Puzzle

A picture of an animal is shown on the screen and then split up into pieces. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to put the picture back together. Click on two pieces one after another, to switch their positions.

9. Matching Shapes

Different shapes appear on the screen. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to match up pairs of the same shape.

10. Pizza Maker

Guess what kind of pizza I want! Watch the pizza ingredients scroll by, and use the Magic Lipstick pen to choose my favorite pizza ingredients, one by one.

1. Music Box

Lets hear some great tunes! Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on a number on the screen, or press a number key to listen to a song.

2. Learn a Song

Lets learn to play a tune! First, select a song by clicking its number with the Magic Lipstick pen, or pressing its number on the keyboard. The unit will play the song. Use the Magic Lipstick pen to play the song again by following the screen background lights.

3. Melody Master

Compose your own song! Use the Magic Lipstick pen to select notes on the screen, or press the note keys on the keyboard. When you have finished composing, click on the music icon on the screen or press ENTER to play your song. Your song can be up to 40 notes long.

4. Odd One Out

Two animals are displayed on the screen - something is a little different between them! Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the parts that are different from each other.

5. Horoscope

Whats your horoscope? Enter your birthday and the laptop will tell you.

6. Ask Wanda

Follow the instructions to make a wish. Wanda will tell you whether or not your wish will come true.

7. Mood Reader

Find the face to match the feeling! You will be given an emotion word. Find the face to match it by clicking on the arrows with the Magic Lipstick pen. When you have found the right face, click on it to select it, or press ENTER.

8. Club Hopping

Lets dance! Use the Magic Lipstick pen to click on the arrows on the screen, and direct the girl to dance. You can input up to 20 moves. When you are done making up your dance, click on the girl or press ENTER, and watch her do your dance!

9. Pet Fortunes

Follow the pets instructions, and she will tell your fortune.

10. Pet Chaser

Use the Magic Lipstick pen to catch the hopping pets. The more pets you catch, the more virtual dollars you earn!
HOW TO EARN VIRTUAL MONEY
The VTech Girl Fun PC is equipped with a Virtual Debit Card. By playing games, you can earn virtual money to buy digital pets and pet accessories in the PetShop. The Virtual Debit Card starts with a value of $100. Each game or activity earns a different amount of money. The list below shows how many virtual dollars you can earn in each activity. 1. Keep your VTech Girl Fun PC clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep your VTech Girl Fun PC out of direct sunlight and away from direct sources of heat. 3. Remove the batteries when your VTech Girl Fun PC will not be in use for an extended period of time, however. Keep in mind that all saved password, money, and pet information will be erased. 4. Do not drop your VTech Girl Fun PC on hard surfaces, or try to dismantle it. 5. Do not immerse your VTech Girl Fun PC in water or get it wet.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If Your VTech Girl Fun PC Stops Responding
If the unit suddenly stops working or the sound becomes weak, turn the unit OFF for 30 seconds, then turn it back ON. If the problem persists, it may be a result of weak batteries or a poor adaptor connection. In case of weak batteries, please replace them following the steps in the Main Battery Installation and Backup Battery Installation sections of this manual. For a poor adaptor connection, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the unit OFF and unplug the adaptor for 30 seconds. 2. Reinsert the adaptor plug into the adaptor jack. 3. Turn the unit ON.

STILL HAVING PROBLEMS?

If you encounter problems while playing the VTech Girl Fun PC, reset the unit by using the tip of an unfolded paperclip (or similar object without a sharp tip), to gently press the Reset button. After that, press the ON button again.
