IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY

If you have difficulty operating your phone, the suggestions below should solve the problem. If you still have difficulty after trying these suggestions, In the US call: VTECH COMMUNICATIONS at 1-800-595-9511. In Canada call: VTECH ELECTRONICS at 1-800-267-7377.
THE PHONE DOESNT WORK AT ALL.
Make sure the power cord is plugged in. Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the base unit and the telephone wall jack. Make sure the batteries are properly charged. If the LOW BATT indicator is slowly flashing, the battery needs charging. If you recently installed a new battery pack, make sure it is installed correctly.

NO DIAL TONE.

First check all the suggestions above. If you still dont hear a dial tone, disconnect the base unit from the telephone jack and connect a different phone. If there is no dial tone on that phone either, the problem is in your wiring or local service. Call your local telephone company.
YOU GET NOISE, STATIC, OR A WEAK SIGNAL EVEN WHEN YOURE NEAR THE BASE UNIT.
Place the handset in the base momentarily to re-set the unit. Then press PHONE/FLASH to get a line. Household appliances plugged into the same circuit as the base unit can sometimes cause interference. Try moving the appliance or the base unit to another outlet.
YOU GET NOISE, STATIC, OR A WEAK SIGNAL WHEN YOURE AWAY FROM THE BASE UNIT.
You may be out of range. Either move close to the base, or relocate the base unit. The layout of your home may be limiting the range. Try moving the base unit to the second or third floor, or to some other location.
THE HANDSET DOES NOT RING WHEN YOU RECEIVE A CALL.
Ensure that the ringer is turned on. Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the base unit and the telephone jack. Make sure the power cord is plugged in. You may be too far from the base unit. You may have too many extension phones on your telephone line to allow all of them to ring. Try unplugging some of the other phones.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You may be nearly out of range. Move closer, or relocate the base.
YOU HEAR OTHER CALLS WHILE USING YOUR PHONE.

YOU HEAR NOISE IN THE HANDSET, AND NONE OF THE KEYS OR BUTTONS WORK.
Make sure the power cord is plugged in. Your base unit and handset may not be operating on the same channel. Place the handset in the cradle for a few moments to reset the channel.
YOUR ANSWERING SYSTEM IS NOT RECORDING MESSAGES
Make sure your Answering System is turned on. See TURNING YOUR ANSWERING SYSTEM ON/OFF. Your Answering System may be in ANNOUNCE ONLY mode. See SET ANNOUNCE ONLY for steps to return to normal (record messages) operation.

You must, upon request, provide this information to your local telephone company. This equipment is compatible with inductively coupled hearing aids.

FCC Part 15

Warning:

FCC Part 68

The FCC requires that you connect your cordless telephone to the nationwide telephone network through a modular telephone jack (USOC RJ11C or RJ11W). Your telephone company may discontinue your service if your equipment causes harm to the telephone network. They will notify you in advance of disconnection, if possible. During notification, you will be informed of your right to file a complaint with the FCC. Traffic measurement: Mobile, flexible and precise
Mode and functionality Microscopic measurement
The microscopic measurement registers the speed and the length of each vehicle together with date and hour. On the insertable MMCard more than 2 million vehicles can be stored. For a specific analysis exists the possibility to appoint two periods of measurement; e.g. at rushhours as 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. This way the use of batterie can be reduced as well.

Technical information

Macroscopic analysis After the measurement, the traffic data can be broadcasted to the PC with a card-reader for analysation. The analysis is done with the easy to handle VeDasys software. A compatibility to all current MS-system software is warranted. The microscopic measurements can be clustered for a macroscopic analysation. These values are:
o amount of vehicles in the period o amount of automobiles with and without trailer, lorries, truck trailers and motorcycles in the period o complete speed distribution of the vehicles in the period in steps of 5 km/h up from [> 10 km/h] to [< 150 km/h] (29 classes). The measurement data can be analized and printed in form of tables and grafics. (f.i. hydographs, pyramids, speed distribution etc.). So a differentation in automobiles with/ without trailer, lorries, truck trailers and motorcycles is possible. Further we offer the possi-bility to convert the measure-ment data in a format which is compatible to WindowsAccess and -Excel.
Mobile traffic measurement with VeDasys V01
Key advantages in competition: The traffic measurement system VeDasys V01 is an innovation by the Bremicker Verkehrstechnik GmbH & Co. KG. It is a mobile measurement system which enables a fully automatic recording of traffic data. The whole measurement components including the power supply system, are integrated in a compact, handy and water proof box which can be installed at any pole at the roadside. A 45-label assists to adujst the appliance in a functional optimal way, so it detects fully automatic and contactless the passing vehicles. Especially remarkable is the possibility of VeDasys to detect both directions of motion. Measuring the length VeDasys can categorize the vehicles in tractor trailers, lorries and buses, automobiles with and without trailer and motorcycles.
Small vehicles <2m Automobiles 2-6m Vans, automobiles with trailer 6-9m 7,5t, buses, lorries 9 - 16 m Truck trailers 16 - 25 m

Classes
The traffic measurement system enables an extremely detailed detection of passing vehicles. Its speed and its time in the radar beam are stored as raw data. With this data the length of the vehicle can be calculated. The actual measurement of the last vehicle passed is always shown on the integrated display. This gives the user the possibility to check and controll the functionality of the appliance during the measurement. To minimize the aberrations VeDasys has variables of adjustement and distance which can be aligned to the current situation.
Information overview: o Contactless traffic measuring
realized from the roadside via radar. o Traffic amount measurement in 5 adjustable vehicle-classes o Recording of single data: date, hour, direction, speed, length o Extensive software for analysis o Easy fixation at different pole types at the roadside
