ME-747AK-SI, an USB2.0/Ethernet combo HDD Storage, integrating Multimedia & Network as a home entertainment center. It not only can play movies, music & photos directly on TV, also enables users share, store and play multimedia files via connecting it to wired or wireless router.
The Mega miniSAN adopts an open SAN protocol named ATA-over-Ethernet (AoE). That is , beyond common TCP/IP management facilities , Mega miniSAN uses AoE as a thin layer to process ATA commands directly over Ethernet traffic. This design has proven its ability to offer 3x-5x performance over fastest home NAS SoC implementations

2.5"/3.5" Portable Multimedia Enclosure Firmware Upgrade Procedures ME747AK / ME747AP / ME820AP (for TV mode)
Introduction: Welland portable media enclosure ME747AK/ME747AP/ME820AP, provides friendly interface to help users upgrading embed firmware to fix the compatibility problems via TV in the field. Please check the following operating procedures: TV Mode Firmware Upgrade (After V 2.7): STEP-1 (Please note: Don't turn off power during firmware- upgrading. Otherwise, it'll cause the device of ME-747AK/ME747AP/ME820A0 damaged)
(a) First of all, Please download the latest firmware bank30.rom from Welland website
(b) Please copy the firmware to the first partition of ME747AK/ME747AP/ME820AP.
(c) Please connect audio & video cable with TV. (d) Please make sure at TV mode and then you will see the main menu. Please enter library and find bank30.rom, then press PLAY button to start upgrade

(e) The upgrade procedures will be completed till there is showing main menu on TV. STEP-2 (a) While upgrade procedures is completed, you have to change the mode-setting from TV mode to device mode, and connect ME747AK/ME747AP/ME820AP with PC via USB cable, then delete the target firmware (bank30.rom).
TV Mode Firmware Upgrade (Before V 2.6) : STEP-1 (Please note: Don't turn off power during firmware- upgrading. Otherwise, it'll cause the device of ME-747AK/ME747AP/ME820A0 damaged)
(c) Please connect audio & video cable with TV. (d) Please switch to TV mode. During upgrade firmware process, please never turn off power or it would cause unexpected damage of ME747AK/ME747AP/ME820AP.
(e) The upgrade procedures will be completed till there is no signal on TV. STEP-2 (a) While upgrade procedures is completed, you have to change the mode-setting from TV mode to device mode, and connect ME747AK/ME747AP/ME820AP with PC via USB cable, then delete the target firmware (bank30.rom).
