Looks nice...sounds AWFUL.. Just purchased & RETURNED this tv. We were thrilled when we took it out of the box..until we set it up.

One of my best purchases I bought this television 4 years ago this month and it does not have a dead pixel yet. Awesome PC Moniter! I bought this in 2007 and hooked it up as my TV and PC Moniter (because it has a VGA connection) It has never caused me a problem.

QUICK CONNECT GUIDE
CONGRATULATIONS on purchasing a state of the art LCD TV! This Quick Connect Guide will help you get started in 3 easy steps. On the back you will find information to maximize your LCD TV experience. For complete installation, usage instructions, and safety precautions please refer to the Users Manual.

KEYPAD POWER INDICATOR

CONNECT THE POWER
Use enclosed A/C power cable to connect A/C power to Main Power input on the LCD TV connection panel. The power indicator on the front side of the TV will glow orange. Note: When TV is turned on, the indicator will glow blue.

CONNECT THE TUNER

Connect either an analog cable or a TV antenna wire to the cable ready NTSC tuner input labeled RFI located in the left area of the connection panel. Note: This step can be skipped if you do not use these options.

CONNECT A DVD PLAYER

Connect your DVD player to the component YPbPr input and corresponding audio inputs located in the connection panel.
Turn on the power by pressing the Power button on the keypad. To watch TV, run the Auto Scan menu option (listed under the TV section in the menu system) to search for available channels.

For the Westinghouse and Viewsonic displays, the following spacers must be used: Westinghouse One M4 Flat Washer must be used with each screw (between the screw and the adapter plate) for a total of four M4 Flat Washers. Four flat washers must be placed between the adapter plate and the display (four per screw; sixteen total). ViewSonic Four flat washers must be placed between the adapter plate and the display (four per screw; sixteen total). Invert the flat panel display and place it on a soft, flat surface. Locate the four (4) mounting points that are found on the back of the flat panel display (Figure 1). Align the UFP-420 to the flat panel display mounting points. Use the four (4) M4 x 20mm Phillips head screws to secure the UFP-420 to the flat panel display (Figure 2). Be sure to place the nylon washer between the bracket and the display. Do not overtighten. Mount the flat panel display to the LCD mount that was purchased, following the supplied instructions.
