Its powerful liquid-cooled two-stroke 50cc engine and 6-speed gearbox deliver focused urge, along with predictable response and control. Front and rear disc brakes provide serious stopping power. Welcome to big bike thrills
Its the thrill of being in complete control of a big bike. Of turning heads as you conquer the citys streets. Its the rush of adrenalin that you want to feel. With a 6-speed manual gearbox helping to keep the liquid cooled 2-stroke single-cylinder 50cc engine in the power band, the DT50X offers superb acceleration. And with its great road holding and braking, if its good enough for off-road riding, its good enough for the streets. Influenced by the design of compeition-winning machines such as the long, narrow seat and benefiting from Yamahas decades of expertise, the DT50X is a supermotard that offers big bike thrills.

Real supermotard style

Thats the real beauty of the supermoto concept it doesnt just look great, it has the performance to match too. Fat 17inch street tyres offer maximum grip on tarmac; the DT50Xs upright riding position and wide handlebars give you the extra leverage you need for brilliant control on all kinds of roads in all kinds of conditions.
Powerful liquid-cooled two-stroke 50cc engine
Flat out or cruising, the DT50Xs sweet and economical 50cc engine delivers strong, consistent power throughout the rev range. Liquid-cooling keeps the engine cool, even in slow-moving traffic, for long lasting reliability.

6-speed gearbox

The DT50Xs slick, 6-speed gearbox is designed to get the most from the punchy 50cc engine, letting you keep the bike in the powerband for best possible performance.

Long-travel suspension

The DT50Xs suspension features a long travel distance of 190 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear. The front telescopic fork and high-performance rear mono-shock mean that the bike comfortably soaks up bumps in the road, while retaining a good feel for the road surface.
Double-piston 260 mm front/220 mm Digital instrument panel Stylish and functional, a large, rugged digital LCD rear disc brakes
When you move fast, you need to be able to stop fast, too. The DT50Xs double-piston calipers give you that braking performance you need. With a piston on both sides of the disc rather than on just one side the front brake can deliver more even pressure across both pads, for better, more progressive braking.
display complements the off-road looks of the DT50X. Its backlit display and large figures provides a clear view of your bikes progress at a glance.
