BWS50 Mounting Brackets Series Wall/Ceiling
The BWS50 Series allows mounting of loudspeakers weighing up to 30 lbs. They are a perfect mate for the Yamaha MSR100 powered speaker but can easily adapt to other speaker systems as well. Collars on both ends of the bracket allow 360 rotation. Additionally, the joint in the shaft of the bracket swivels over 200 (in 6 increments). Adjustability like this allows an endless possibility of mounting positions. (Packed and sold in pairs)
All bracket hardware is designed for maximum safety. Adjustment points are connected in a way that keeps them from coming apart, even if all the adjustment screws are missing! Screws to attach these brackets to the speaker are supplied with the speaker. Hardware required to attach these brackets to the wall or ceiling is not supplied. Thick steel flanges on these brackets are both welded AND riveted to ensure maximum strength.

BWS20 Mounting Brackets Series Wall/Ceiling
The BWS20 Series allows mounting of loudspeakers weighing up to 17 lbs. These brackets are designed for use with the Yamaha MS101II, MS202II, MSP3 and MSP5A, but will also work with other speaker systems. 360 rotation of both the base and top plate, and a 200 swivel built into the shaft provide unmatched flexibility. SMMounting Bracket SPKR BRKT Wall
This bracket provides a low cost solution for mounting smaller (up to 15 lbs.) speaker systems. An ingenious radiused mounting plate allows up to a 140 rotation. The wall and speaker components separate for ease in mounting. Screws are included to attach the bracket to Yamaha MS101II, MS202II, MSP3 and MSP5A speakers. STS2 Stand Table Top

The STS2 stand supports loudspeakers on any flat surface. The versatile design allows the speaker to be secured at either a forward or backward tilt. Screws are included for attachment to MS101II, MS202II, MSP3 and MSP5A. The STS2 is sold as a single unit.
BMS10A Adapter Microphone Stand
The BMS10A adapter provides microphone stand mounting for loudspeakers up to 11 lbs. The BMS10A fits the 5/8"-27 thread standard and comes with a 3/8"-16 European adapter. The BMS10A includes screws to attach MS101II, MS202II, MSP3 and MSP5A speakers. Additionally, the BMS10A will support the Yamaha MG10/2 and MG8/2FX mixers. The BMS10A is sold as a single unit.
VARISTANDMonitor Platform Adjustable Height
The Varistands all-steel design gives solid support for small monitor speaker systems. Designed to support the MSP5A, its mounting platform will accept numerous bolt patterns. The T-shaped base has a very small footprint for easy placement in tight spots behind desks and consoles. The base is hollow, allowing the addition of sand or lead ballast to increase stability. Height is adjustable from 27" to 42". Maximum recommended weight is 20 lbs. per stand. (Packed and sold in pairs)

SS138B Stand Tripod Speaker
Despite its lightweight aluminum construction (5.1 lbs.), the SS138B tripod stand safely supports up to 70 lbs. Its inner tube is the standard 138 " diameter and fits the Club V and BR Series speakers. OPERATING MANUAL

Thank you for purchasing a Yamaha MS101II Monitor Speaker. The MS101II employs a 4 inch full-range speaker in a compact bass-reex style cabinet. Its faithful sound reproduction capabilities make it ideal for home recording and personal practice. Since a magnetic eld-cancelling speaker is used, the MS101II can be placed next to a television or video monitor without causing interference, making it the perfect choice for Audio/Video system applications.
G Explanation of Graphical Symbols The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert you to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the products enclosure that may be of sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert you to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK. 1. Connect this units power cord only to an AC outlet of the type stated in this Owners Manual or as marked on the unit. Failure to do so is a re and electrical shock hazard. 2. Do not allow water to enter this unit or allow the unit to become wet. Fire or electrical shock may result. 3. Do not place heavy objects, including this unit, on top of the power cord. A damaged power cord is a re and electrical shock hazard. In particular, be careful not to place heavy objects on a power cord covered by a carpet. 4. Do not place a container with liquid or small metal objects on top of this unit. Liquid or metal objects inside this unit are a re and electrical shock hazard. 5. Do not remove the units cover. You could receive an electrical shock. If you think internal inspection, maintenance, or repair is necessary, contact your dealer. 6. Do not modify the unit. To prevent electrical shock when cleaning the unit, remove the power plug from the AC outlet. 10.To allow for the efcient release of heat, maintain a gap of 10 cm or more between the rear of the MS101II and the wall in addition to a gap of 20 cm or more between the top of the MS101II and the ceiling. Locate the MS101II away from other equipment. If the release of heat is insufcient, the heat will remain inside the device, and result in a re.

CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO WIDE SLOT, FULLY INSERT.
1 STANDBY/ON switch/indicator
Press this switch to switch the power between STANDBY and ON. When the power is turned on, the STANDBY/ON indicator comes on.
CAUTION: A small amount of electric current is owing even when the power is in the STANDBY mode. When not using the MS101 II for an extended period of time, be sure to discon-nect the power cord from the AC outlet.

5 MIC INPUT

A dynamic type microphone can be connected to this 1/4 inch phone jack.

6 Line 1 Input

The line level output from a CD player, DAT recorder, cassette recorder, or VCR can be connected to this RCA pin jack.

7 Line 2 Input

Any audio equipment that produces a line level output can be connected to this 1/4 inch phone jack, i.e., synthesizer, mixer, multitrack cassette recorder, effects unit, etc.

2 LOW control

Turn this control clockwise to boost low frequencies and counterclockwise to reduce them.

8 Line Out

A cassette recorder or DAT recorder can be connected to this 1/4 inch phone jack for recording. Input signals from the Mic, Line 1, and Line 2 inputs are mixed, then output here. Another MS101II can be connected to this jack for parallel operation. The front panel volume knob doesnt effect the volume level of this line out.

3 HIGH control

Turn this control clockwise to boost high frequencies and counterclockwise to reduce them.

4 VOLUME control

Use this control to set the volume level.

Example Set up

Make sure all your equipment is powered off, then connect the MS101IIs power cable to a suitable AC receptacle. Connect your other equipment, synthesizer, CD player, etc., to the MS101II, then power on. There are many different ways in which the MS101IIs can be integrated into an audio system, two examples are shown below. Microphones are connected to the MIC INPUTs, a keyboard is connected to the LINE 2 input, and a CD player is connected to the LINE 1 input allowing you to sing and play along with your favorite songs or even your own songs.
