THE GEARBOX EXPERIENCE
TZR50 DT50 DT50 Supermotard
here's something special about Yamahas. The performance is great of course, as you'd expect with a long and successful record in all sorts of competition. They're practical and comfortable too, with a lot of thought put in to how you use them every day. Reliability's not an issue either. But there's something extra, something you get as well as all this, and that's the way they feel and look, the buzz you get from riding one. Take the sports machines, the TZR and the two DT50s. Their performance is as good as you'll get, but it's not only the specifications or speed figures which make these bikes stand out, it's what they do to you when you're riding them! They look so good you just have to show your friends, and they give you all the right big bike sensations. Check out the TZR - it's got all the appearance of the supersport R series, with that sharp and aggressive full fairing and those distinct twin lights. It's a style that comes direct from the world of racing, where Yamaha's technicians have honed their skills at the highest level in MotoGP. Or the DT, which looks like it's come straight out of a motocross or enduro race. Get yourself a real taste of off-road sport and Yamaha's super-successful dirt bike technology. Theres good reason these machines look like the real thing its because they are!

50 TZR

The first step in the R-series! The first step in the R-series!
The TZR50 looks like a real professional's machine, but in fact it's easy to ride. So if you're taking your first steps up the Yamaha supersports range it's a great bike on which to hone your skills and discover the excitement of riding a real supersport machine. The brakes are powerful, the engine willing and the handling is sharp and accurate, so as your own ability progresses, the TZR is never going to hold you back. This is big bike design in the 50cc class with that unmissable supersports style. There's the sharp, aerodynamic bodywork with powerful dual reflector headlamps and integrated turn signals, plus a new twin spar aluminium frame inspired by the famous Yamaha Deltabox designs. The instrument panel is inspired by the R series, and features a white faced tachometer with fully electronic digital speed display, and full sized sports tyres to underline the TZR's readyfor-action appearance.

Thrill your senses Thrill your senses
The DT50 is a true go-anywhere machine, perfect for getting around town with style and agility, and just as capable of exploring off-road if you get really adventurous. It sits you high up for a better view and the long travel suspension soaks up the rough stuff, even if that's neglected city streets! Wherever you want to go, the DT50 will take you there, bringing the whole world a little closer to your door. It feels right too, with its knobbly tyres, long travel forks and six-speed gearbox all adding up to a genuine off-road bike sensation. Throw in the high tech digital speedo and added sophistication of a rev counter and you have an idea of how special it will make you feel.
Off road tyres - for grip in the dirt and a proper motocross style Six speed gearbox - helps to get the most from the engine and adds a real big bike sensation Digital speedometer - easy to read and cool to look at

Supermotard DT

Is this the sharpest way yet for mixing it with the traffic? The super-agile DT50 Supermotard is the ideal solution for beating the jams and getting around town rapidly and easily, when you have friends to meet and places to go. This is urban transport with a big dose of fun - riding it's a major thrill and it gets you where you want to go too! Those road-type supersport wheels and tyres make for even sharper street performance and a genuine supermotard style. Like the DT50, the Supermotard features a six-speed gearbox and digital speedometer, giving its rider the first taste of the big bike experience. It's practical too, with all the everyday usability and reliability that comes with the Yamaha name.
