Unplug this connector

Remove the seat Prop the front of the fuel tank up. Unplug the stock 4 pin black connector. This connector is located on the left hand side of the bike under the fuel tank. (Fig. A).

Unplug the stock 3 pin white connector. This connector is located on the left hand side of the bike under the fuel tank. (Fig. B).

PCIII connectors

Plug the connectors of the PCIII in-line of the stock connectors (Fig. C).

Attach the black ground lead from the PCIII to the negative side of the battery (Fig. D).

Install the PCIII in the tail section using the supplied velcro. Make sure to use the supplied alcohol swab to clean both surfaces before attaching the unit.
