SLIP-ON STREET LEGAL EXHAUST SYSTEM
Akrapovic SLIP-ON is a partial system and represents a first-level exhaust system tuning component. It provides a performance and big sound improvement for Yamaha X-Max 250 and X-City 250. The system is designed for riders who are looking for a combination of performance, quality, simple installation and affordability. The change will also be visual as our muffler with carbon-fiber end cap perfectly fit the exterior line of the X-Max and X-City and add a clean racing image. SLIP-ON is available as street legal version. PERFORMANCE Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the YAMAHA X-MAX 250 (without noise damper): Power & Torque: The power curve with Akrapovic exhaust system is much more linear, from bottom to top of the power curve. Max. power of 17.2 HP is reached at 7420 rpm. The torque curve reflects the same compatibility with the operation of the engine. The increase can be seen throughout the entire rpm range, so you get bags of torque to go along with the increase of power. Biggest power gain of 1.3 HP is at 4900 rpm.

Unique design

The X-MAX 250 inherits many characteristics from the TMAX. The front face is a single piece strengthening the front cowlings look and allowing for a larger, more refined dashboard and the side frame covers are curved for a dynamic, sporty look. Along with the sports-style windscreen, the X-MAX 250 cleverly combines aesthetics with practicality.
Powerful, confident braking and suspension
As well as high-quality suspension, the X-MAX 250 features large, confidence-inducing disc brakes at the front (267 mm) and rear (240 mm). With an enlarged 245mm rear disc, the ABS version monitors and regulates the spinning speed of both wheels for high levels of control under braking giving you confidence in all conditions.
Sports frame and large wheels
With its large wheels and sports-style frame, the X-MAX 250 is designed for a lot more than just your daily commute: its equally at home on longer trips into the country as on cobbled streets. With great grip, wide tyres provide comfort and stability on the straights. And in the corners, theres a feeling of lightness when you lean in.

Open the throttle on the X-MAX 250 to unleash an engine of refined performance. The liquid-cooled 250cc 4-stroke single cylinder engine produces big torque even from low revs great acceleration on city streets, and great speed on the open road, whether riding solo or with a passenger.
