Power you can handle

Enjoy easy, smooth power whether its on the city streets or as you open up and head into the country. The 600cc fuel-injected engine is superbly responsive and a newly designed clutch makes for much smoother gear shifting. An aerodynamic half-fairing will help to protect you from the elements whatever speed youre at.
Great roadholding and excellent handling
The reassurance of taking the twists and turns that make for an enjoyable ride comes from knowing you have excellent support underneath you. The XJ6 Diversion features 41 mm front forks and monocross rear suspension, as well as lightweight cast wheels to keep unsprung weight low and to guarantee a smooth ride.

Enhanced agility

Great torque at low revs is a signal that the XJ6 Diversion means business but its the inclusion of a four-into-one exhaust with midship muffler which contributes to centralise mass, that underlines this bikes enhanced agility. Youll also feel in command, too, courtesy of adjustable handlebars that allow you to dictate the best riding position.

New lightweight frame

Yamaha has given the XJ6 Diversion a new tubular frame that has been designed to provide easy handling. It also helps to emphasise the bikes slim appearance and it weighs in at an impressively lightweight 211 kg (216 kg for ABS version).

Storage that suits you

The XJ6 Diversion is a motorcycle that can cope with your flexible lifestyle. For added functionality we offer as Genuine Yamaha accessory a sturdy rear carrier and a big 46-litre topcase so you can easily stow away an overnight bag or shopping. An under-seat storage compartment features a U-lock for added security.
