Throttle cable cam. There is a stop on the 08/09 that can be removed with a dremel tool. This allows throttle to open fully.

Top end replacement is a good thing to do. We like to change rings every 3K miles, and piston and rings on the alternate 3K miles. If you notice that your top end power has fallen off, and/or your scooter is hard to start (new spark plug?) then it is probably time to replace top end.When we ship the parts to you we also send assembly and break in instructions. We suggest you hone the cylinder to break the glaze on it. This is easy to do and the hone can be re-used hundreds of time. Cylinder Hone

When re-building the top end, break the glaze on the cylinder quickly, completely, & easily.
Honing the cylinder when re-building the top end is probably the most important step in the rebuild. A glaze builds up which prevents rings from transferring heat efficiently and the glaze lowers compression. It is not difficult to hone a cylinder to just break the glaze!
