Nissan Micra K10 Series Clutch

We have found that the Nissan Micra suffers from common problems causing premature clutch failure. Awareness of these problems prior to fitment will allow the correct preventative action to be taken.
Symptoms: Jerky/stiff pedal operation Clutch drag (poor gear selection) Release bearing wear (causing bearing noise) Clutch slip

Probable Causes Pivots

Worn or Seized Release mechanism pivots

Clutch cable seizure

Transmission guide tube wear
Symptoms: Clutch Drag Clutch Slip Severe clutch disc hub wear
