| The Siemens ME45 was released in early 2001 as a hard wearing a durable mobile phone, and has had some staring roles. i have had this phone for two years now, and i still currently use it, i personally think its one of the best, robust phones in the market. | |

Note: It is important to do the following before you proceed to configure your mobile phone to access the Email Client Service. a) You need to have a POP3 enabled email account. b) To create a data account called SunSurf Mobile. SunSurf Mobile allows the phone to access the Internet and Email Client via the M1 network. Setting up SunSurf Mobile Data Account: 1. Go to Main Menu and select Settings. 2. Select Settings. 3. Select Connection. 4. Select Access Point. 5. Press Option and select New Access Point. 6. Press soft key > 7. Select Use default settings. 8. Connection Name: SunSurf Mobile 9. Data bearer: GPRS 10. Access point name: sunsurf. 11. User name: leave it blank 12. Prompt password: No 13. Password: leave it blank 14. Authentication: normal 15. Homepage: Leave Blank 16. Press Back till you go back to the main menu. Email Client Set-up steps: 1. Go to Menu. 2. Select Messaging. 3. Select Messages. 4. Scroll and select Mail box. 5. Select Yes to define mail box. 6. Select Mailbox name Create a name for your mailbox. Eg. My Yahoo Mail 7. Scroll and select Access point in use. 8. Scroll and select sunsurf to be default access point. 9. Scroll and select My email address. 10. Enter your email address E.g xxx.yahoo.com.sg. 11. Scroll and select Outgoing mail server. 12. Enter smtp.miworld.com.sg. 13. Send message: Immediately 14. Send copy to self: No 15. Include signature: No 16. Scroll and select User name. 17. Enter your email login user name.
