GARY U.S. BONDS SOUND & LIGHTS CONTRACT RIDER
to be provided at no cost to Artist

SOUND:

PURCHASER IS TO PROVIDE AT NO COST TO THE ARTIST: A PROFESSIONAL SOUND SYSTEM FROM A REPUTABLE PRODUCTION COMPANY, WHO IS CAPABLE OF HANDLING YOUR FACILITY. THIS SYSTEM MUST INCLUDE SEPARATE HOUSE AND MONITOR SOUND SYSTEMS. PRODUCTION COMPANY MUST ALSO PROVIDE POWER DISTRIBUTION TO THE STAGE (60 AMP, SINGLE PHASE). THREE POWER DROPS MUST ALSO BE PROVIDED ON STAGE: TWO QUADBOXES STAGE RIGHT AND ONE STAGE LEFT. HOUSE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: a) A minimum of 32 or 48 channel, professional mixing console with separate equalization, and 4 aux sends on each channel. b) A minimum of 16 microphones (seven vocal, INCLUDING FOUR CORDLESS MICS), the following is preferred: (4) SM 58's; (6) SM 57's; (1) RE20; (3) condensers; (4) direct boxes; appropriate mic stands c) The sound system must be three way (tri-amped) with an adequate number of speaker cabinets to disperse sound evenly throughout the venue. d) System should have a third octave equalizer in-line. e) At least 3 effects units should be in the house rack (1 Yamaha SPX 90, 1 reverb, 1 ddl). f) A minimum of 3 gates and 3 compressors. g) Mix position must be between center and house right with stage visible. h) A competent sound engineer must be present for the set-up and run time. MONITOR SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: a) A monitor mixing console with a minimum of 16 inputs and 4 discrete mixes cue. b) Eight wedge monitors of excellent quality. c) Four discrete mixes will be used, sidefills are in mono. d) Each mix must have a third octave equalizer inserted. e) A cue monitor of similar quality, post eq. f) Mix position must be stage left, Artist and musicians must be visible. g) A competent sound engineer must be present for set-up and run time.

LIGHTING:

* a) A minimum of two follow spots with operators b) NIGHT CLUBS: Stage lighting of at least 20-watt par lamps with operator c) CONCERTS AND SPECIAL EVENTS: Stage lighting should be at least double that of above. d) Four separate color gels (at least): RED, AMBER, BLUE, MAGENTA. e) Lighting operators should consult with Artist or Musical Dir. regarding focus and scene changes. PLEASE NOTE THAT SPOTLIGHTS MUST ALWAYS BE PROVIDED FOR GARY U.S. BONDS
GARY U.S. BONDS STAGE GEAR/BACKLINE CONTRACT RIDER
2 GUITAR AMPS: Two: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe or Deville combo amps 1 BASS AMP: GALIEN-KRUGER 800 RB amp. W/ Two 4X10s or One 4X10 plus One 1X15 speaker cabinets (preferred) or Crown PB-1 with EQ and pre-amp 2 KEYBOARDS: One: Eighty-Eight key weighted electronic keyboard (i.e.: Kurzweil PC88; Roland RD600; Korg SG-1D; Yamaha PF85; or an in tune Yamaha CP-80) NOTE: All with sustain pedal One: KORG TRITON, ALESIS QUADRASYNTH, OR QS7. PLEASE INCLUDE KEYBOARD AMP & VOLUME PEDAL (a Peavy KB300, KB150, Roland KC300, KC500, or JC120. Actually any decent amp will do). Please note: If Purchaser can provide a Hammond B-3 organ, our keyboard player will be in heaven and forgo the above synthesizer request. NOTE: stands for electronic keyboards also required. 1 DRUM SET: YAMAHA 4 piece recording kit preferred OR Tama or Pearl. Drums to include hardware, two (2) crash cymbals, one (1) ride cymbal and hi-hat cymbals (Zildijian), with stands, and drummers throne. NO ELECTRONIC DRUMS. RISERS: Please note that we request at least one 8W x 8D x 2H DRUM RISER. If available we would like two additional riders, 8W x 6D x 1H for the KEYBOARDS and HORNS or VOCALISTS. THANK YOU

GARY U.S. BONDS GENERAL CONTRACT RIDER
THIS RIDER WILL BECOME PART AND PARCEL OF THE CONTRACT AND MUST BE SIGNED BY THE PURCHASER OR CONTRACT WILL BE CONSIDERED NULL AND VOID. No advertising is permitted, in any form, prior to receipt of signed contract from Artist. Timely payments and adherence to all the terms of the agreement and this rider are of the essence. If payments are not made timely (according to the terms of the contract) or other conditions fulfilled timely, the Artist may cancel this agreement and all prior payments and deposits will be forfeited. Balance of all payments are due to the Artist prior to performance, BY CASHIER'S CHECK OR IN CASH ONLY, unless otherwise agreed to prior to performance by Artist's Agent or Management. Unless otherwise agreed to, at least one week prior to show, Artist will receive 100% top billing in all advertising and publicity of any kind. Unless otherwise agreed to prior to show, Artist will close the show. Artist's agent or management office must approve any additional artists that may be appearing on the show. This must be done prior to show.* All interviews of any kind or appearances for promotion purposes must be cleared through Artist's management office. ONLY PHOTOS SUPPLIED BY ARTIST'S MANAGEMENT, AGENT OR ARTIST MAY BE USED FOR PROMOTING GARY U.S. BONDS APPEARANCE. No audio or video recording devices of any type are to be permitted on the premises without the express consent of Artist management or Agent. An announcement should be made prior to show that Artist requests that the audience refrain from the use of video or recording equipment during the show. When back-up musicians are provided by the Purchaser, Artist's Musical Director will have approval of said musicians Artist's Musical Director must have control over the set-up of the stage and the placement of sound and lighting equipment as well as the mixing and control of sound and equipment during the performance. Artist's Musical Director, and/or musicians, will sound check for a minimum of 60 minutes. Stage must have dimensions of at least 30'w X 20'd X 3-4h, w/no obstructions, and steps to audience. When appropriate, Artist reserves the sole and exclusive right to sell merchandise. PURCHASER SHALL ADVISE OF CONTACT TO ARRANGE FOR MERCHANDISING (name/#) and have adequate space available for such merchandising.
* Prior to show is interpreted to mean "at least one week before show".

Artist shall be allowed up to 10 guests at each show. Artists obligations hereunder are subject to the detention or prevention by sickness, inability to perform, accident by means of transportation, act of God, natural catastrophes, riots, strikes, labor difficulties, epidemics and an act or order of any public authority or cause, similar or dissimilar beyond Artists control. Not withstanding the provisions hereof, in the event that inclement weather renders Artist's performance infeasible or impractical the parties hereto agree that said circumstance shall have no effect whatsoever upon Artist's right to receive his full compensation as set forth herein. PURCHASER IS TO PROVIDE AT NO COST TO ARTIST
SEE AGREEMENT FOR AIRFARE REQUIREMENTS. All airfares should be FULL FARE, roundtrip airfares (or the equivalent compensation for same) from New York, NY. Artist may prefer to book these flights. Local transportation for 9 people (5-6 when musicians are provided), round-trip airport (at Artist's time(s) of arrival)/ hotel/ show location for sound check/ performance/ and finally returned to airport (for Artist's time(s) of departure). Town car, luxury sedan or van. LIMOUSINE NOT NECESSARY. Two clean, well-lit (heated/air-conditioned) dressing rooms, washroom and mirrors, to accommodate 10 people comfortably (5-6 when musicians are provided) Dressing rooms are to be equipped with a lock or guard for security purposes and unauthorized persons must be kept from said area). (NOTE THERE ARE FEMALES IN THE GROUP) Adequate security personnel, on duty at all times, for the Artist, Artist's equipment, musicians and staff. Purchaser is responsible for the safety of said persons and items. Adequate towels, cups, one case of bottled water (small bottles), one case of light beer, four bottles of Merlot, coffee, soft drinks. NO FOOD IN GARYS DRESSING ROOM PLEASE. One hot meal to feed 10 people (5-6 when musicians are provided). Schedule with MD or management.
ACCOMMODATIONS: All accommodations shall be at a Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott or better. - WHEN MUSICIANS ARE PROVIDED: FIVE (5) HOTEL ROOMS; One suite, four singles - WHEN ARTIST IS SELF-CONTAINED: Eight (8) HOTEL ROOMS: One suite and seven singles. If the engagement is held at a hotel or resort, accommodations shall be at that same hotel or resort. NOTE ALSO: WE REQUEST THAT HOTEL CHECK IN BE EXPRESS, PRIORITY, VIP OR WHATEVER APPLIES SO ARTIST REGISTRATION MAY BE EXPEDITED UPON ARRIVAL. LOAD-IN: WHEN ARTIST IS SELF-CONTAINED: Musical Director must be advised, in advance, of any special or unusual load-in conditions (i.e., elevators, staircases, unusual stage height, stage not near load-in door entrance). If necessary, a loading ramp must be provided. IN ADDITION, a minimum of THREE stage hands capable of lifting heavy equipment, to assist with the loading and unloading of equipment upon arrival and prior to departure, should be available. page two of three

ANTICIPATORY BREACH If on or before the date of any scheduled performance hereunder, the financial standing or credit of Purchaser has been impaired or is unsatisfactory, Artist shall have the right to demand payment forthwith of the guaranteed compensation specified above, and if Purchaser fails or refuses to make such payment forthwith, Artist shall then have the right to cancel this agreement. In the event of such cancellation, Artist shall have no further obligation to Purchaser hereunder, and shall retain any monies theretofore paid to Artist or Artist's agent.
ALL TERMS OF THIS RIDER ARE SPECIFICALLY ACCEPTED BY PURCHASER UNLESS THEY ARE WAIVED BY ARTIST'S AGENT OR MANAGEMENT, AND INITIALED. DO NOT ADD TO, DELETE FROM, OR MAKE ANY ALTERATIONS IN THE CONTRACT OR RIDER WITHOUT FIRST COMMUNICATING WITH ARTIST'S AGENT OR MANAGEMENT.
