Due to the additional outuput power there are now two internal quiet temperature controlled fans to provide arflow over the enlarged heatsink. Beldon RG58X High Performance gray coax cable for Ham and CB Radios
This Beldon brand coax is 95% shielded RG58X - 50 ohm for single antenna applications or RG59A/U 75 Ohm for dual antenna applications. The coax cables shielding is made with a copper braid. It's insulation is made of poly foam for ultimate flexibility and has solder on type Amphenol brand PL259 connectors. Beldon is world renowned for there quality coax. Amphenol brand PL259's are the best connector on the market today. Mini 8 (RG58) coax cable has very low loss characteristics and is rated at 450 watts RMS. 50 ohm mini 8 (RG58) coax is intended for a single antenna application only and should never be combined for a dual antenna application. Dual antenna systems require RGOhm coax cable. At 27 MHz the antenna system is in phase with 18 feet of coax cable. We offer other lengths for use as a jumper when adding an SWR meter for example.
