An integral part of the Ascom FreeNET VoWiFi communications solution, the i75 Protector portable handset provides high level of personal security along with quality communications with other onsite and off-site telephones. Designed specifically for harsh environments, the rugged Ascom i75 Protector portable handset features an intuitive user interface with a large display and a four-way navigation button. This portable handset is also equipped with vibration alert, an internal antenna, and convenient mute and volume controls. The lightweight i75 Protector portable handset offers three programmable soft keys so the most important functions are always readily available. Other features include digital call services, such as name and number identification, hold, transfer, conferencing, diversion with redirection identification and message waiting notification. The i75 Medic portable handset is equipped with a staff assistance push button alarm, emergency number alarm and optional man-down and no-movement alarms. The personal alarm will include the identity of the nearest access point to ensure security personnel are aware of your location at the time of an emergency.
Utilizing the Ascom UNITE Messaging Suite, the i75 Protector portable handset provides a two-way messaging interface with Building Management, Security Management, and Production Controls systems. The i75 Protector portable handset supports prioritized messaging, instant message display, and broadcast messaging to ensure the most urgent event and associated message is immediately available. The programmable soft keys can be defined within the message and feature read receipt acknowledgement, message escalation and telephony call initiation. The i75 Protector portable handset bundled with the UNITE Messaging Suite is the only VoWiFi device capable of smart integration with industrial systems.
