POWER COMMANDER V INPUT ACCESSORY GUIDE

ACCESSORY INPUTS

Map - The PCV has the ability to hold 2 different base maps. You can switch on the fly between these two base maps when you hook up a switch to the MAP inputs. You can use any open/close type switch. The polarity of the wires is not important. When using the Autotune kit one position will hold a base map and the other position will let you activate the learning mode. When the switch is CLOSED Autotune will be activated. These inputs are for use with the Dynojet quickshifter. Insert the wires from the Dynojet quickshifter into the SHIFTER inputs. The polarity of the wires is not important. If your application has a speed sensor then you can tap into the signal side of the sensor and run a wire into this input. This will allow you to calculate gear position in the Control Center Software. Once gear position is setup you can alter your map based on gear position and setup gear dependent kill times when using a quickshifter. This input is for a 0-5v signal such as engine temp, boost, etc. Once this input is established you can alter your fuel curve based on this input in the control center software. Do NOT connect anything to this port unless instructed to do so by Dynojet. It is used to transfer crank trigger data from one module to another.

SHIFTER SHIFTER MAP MAP

Wire connections: To input wires into the PCV first remove the rubber plug on the backside of the unit and loosen the screw for the corresponding input. Using a 22-24 gauge wire strip about 10mm from its end. Push the wire into the hole of the PCV until is stops and then tighten the screw. Make sure to reinstall the rubber plug. NOTE: If you tin the wires with solder it will make inserting them easier.

3 Remove the seat and fuel tank. Secure the PCV to the inner right hand side of the tail section using the supplied velcro (Fig. A). Route the PCV harness under the subframe and go down the left side of the rear cylinder and follow the stock wiring harness to the rear injector on top of the airbox.
Route the PCV harness down the left side of the rear cylinder and follow the stock wiring harness to the rear injector on top of the airbox (Fig. B).

Continue routing the PCV harness along the stock wiring harness to the front of the air box (Fig. C). Use the supplied zip ties to secure the PCV harness to the stock harness.

Unplug the stock wiring harness from the rear injector (Fig. D).

Plug the YELLOW wires of the PCV in-line of the rear injector and stock harness (Fig. E).

Remove the right hand side frame cover (Fig. F).

Remove the inner cover (Fig.GF).
10 Unplug the stock wiring harness from the front injector (Fig. H).
11 Using the ORANGE colored wires of the PCV connect in-line of the stock wiring harness and front injector (Fig. J).

12 Locate the Throttle Position Sensor on the right hand side of the throttle bodies. 13 Crimp the supplied wire tap to the ORANGE colored wire (Position C). 14 Connect the GREY wire of the PCV to the wire tap (Fig. K).
It is recommended to use dielectric grease on these connections

15 Attach the ground wire to the engine bolt on the right hand side near the clutch cover (Fig. L). 16 Reinstall the covers, fuel tank and seat.
Speed input - GRY/WHT wire from speed sensor located above clutch cover 12v power source for Auto tune - RED wire of 4 pin connector under rear cowling.

The Akrapovic SLIP-ON OPEN and STREET LEGAL exhaust system for the Ducati Streetfighter offers a great balance between price and performance, and represents the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. In addition to performance, the twin hexagonal shaped mufflers with titanium or carbon fiber muffler sleeve adds a clean racing look. Additionally, the Ducati will put out a much more powerful racing sound. You will also save up to 3.45 kg compared to the stock Ducati exhaust system. The SLIP-ON street legal system is homologated and ready for road use. In both configurations, mufflers include removable noise dampers. PERFORMANCE Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIPON open system on the DUCATI Streetfighter without muffler insert: Power & Torque: The Akrapovic SLIP-ON open system greatly increases the potential of the big twin cylinder engine. Both power and torque are increased over the entire rpm range, with the greatest increase shown in the middle and top of the range. We measured 147.79 HP at 9929 rpm, while the max. increased power of 4.95 HP was measured at 9850 rpm. That results in a much smoother ride as the biggest gain of power starts from 4500 rpm.
