CEDIA 2005 has come and gone and we owe a special Thanks to all of you for helping to make it the most successful show to date. You asked for it.we listened. We introduced 4new receivers (DTR-4.6/5.6/6.6/7.6) with key features that you asked for see Dot-6 Preview. Thanks to your input and feedback Integra continues to be the buzz of the industry.

For those of you who didnt get the low-down on new product offerings at CEDIA here are the highlights. We introduced 4 new reDTR-7.6 ceivers the DTR-4.6/ 5.6/ 6.6 & 7.6. Key Features (all models unless otherwise noted): -XM-Ready -Component Video Upconversion -100MHz Component Video Bandwidth -Adjustable A/V Sync delay -HDMI Switching (DTR-7.6) -Zone 2 Bass/Treble & Balance control -Zone 2 Max Vol. & Power On Vol. Settings -Dual IR Inputs (A/B) w/common output -Discrete Zone 2 codes w/no time-out -Dealer Settings memory -Customer Lock-out feature -Increased power (varies by model) -12V trigger control while the unit is turned off Other noteworthy items: -A-Bus is no longer featured on the new models -There has been a price increase on DTR-4.6/5.6 (contact your sales rep for details) Of course, you will continue to see key features which you have come to expect from Integra receivers such as bi-directional RS-232 control, 12V triggers, Powered Zone 2, high grade audio DACs, superior build quality & reliability, available rack kits, & real attainable profit margins.

Effective immediately, we have changed suppliers for our A-BUS keypad, the KP-AB1. Russound is supplying us with their A-KP2 instead of the Integra-branded version. This change in supplier has resulted in a change to the keypad itself. The changes in the keypad itself are mostly cosmetic so functionally speaking, the Russound A-KP2 will work the same as the Integra KP-AB1. Also note that A-Bus is no longer featured on the new Dot-6 receivers.

Help your customer (and you!) sleep well at night in the comfort of knowing that their entire music collection (which could have potentially taken many hours/days to load!) is backed up safely. Use XiVA Utilities (for your use only Not your customer!) to easily create an encrypted copy of their music collection. You can pick up 160GB hard drives for less than $40 nowadays.cheap insurance, and a value added service on your part! Also use Utilities to Clean the data off of a floor model before selling it.

Specifying a New DTR-7.6? Need to know how it handles HDMI vs. the DTR-10.5? Heres a brief rundown. Because the DTR-7.6 is HDMI v 1.1 it will carry both video and audio (with the exception of SACD and DVD-Audio) signals. Since the DTR7.6 is switching only you will need to run s/composite and/or component video to your display for non-HDMI sources.

They even have all of the optional cards for the DTR-10.5, to help make things smooth and easy when specifying Integra products on your next proposal. D-Tools offers custom integrators a drag and drop system for creating detailed project designs, color photo-realistic views, and accurate proposals.

Got some new installers who need the low-down on Getting In; Getting Out; and Getting Paid? How about a new programmer who needs more info on RS-232 protocols? Get the latest firmware for the DTR-10.5 and DPS-10.5, current versions are v1.09 and v1.23 respectively. It is recommended that you perform a system reset after updating firmware (which will delete A/V assignments, presets, etc. so use the Settings document from the owners manual to jot everything down first!). For the DTR-10.5 you will need a PC connected via Ethernet/RS-232; for the DPS-10.5 you can update by copying the new firmware to CD-R/RW and dropping it into the DVD tray.
