http://cellphones.extemo.com/motorola_a768i-mobile.html plz. i cant use my a768i i have a a768i icant use due to unlock code problem i have brougth it to motorola service center here in manila but they cant open it. pls help me. my computer can"t recognise my a768i my desktop window xp did not recognise my a768i. looking for a768i driver reset code i need the master reset code for my motorola a768i phone master reset unlock code i need the reset master code for my phone unable to use theme assistant dear sir , iam a techie ,,i have a a768i but till date unable to use theme pc tool ,,plz suggest tried restarting , says check " whether sim card & phone are ready" a great phone for a small pocket i have been using this phone for more than a month now and i'm fully satisfied with it.it's internal memory is good enough and the camera is also good if you do not use it's full zoom.screen resolution are excelent and handwriting recog is good.the phone is a flip. colored a deep charcoal color. it will automatically flip all the way open after u open it about 50 degrees. the groove around the side where u can get you are finger under to flip it open is a little small so sometimes it's a little challenging to open with one hand. but getting used to it has made it much easier for me now. the antenna does not pull out.this phone is fast. for example, it takes about 1.5 seconds to load up a 2.5 minute video, and any size mp3 is practically instantaneous. the phone comes with all your typical mumbo jumbo (calculator, calendar, etc.). the tasks are useful and work well but you are limited (im not sure by what word count exactly) in your notes for the tasks. though this phone is not branded as a true multimedia phone (as the e680 is), it still rocks. the mono speaker in the back will belch your mp3's quite loud. this phone does hi-res pictures justice. whether it's with the picsel browser to view huge pictures or the phone's native size background with a really nice picture, it all looks good. the slideshow is cool because it automatically views wider pictures landscape-wise.the battery life on this phone, considering how much it must use up, is great. i don't have any long-term numbers of hours of use but i can say that using the a768i strictly as a phone with a couple calls and around 15 outgoing text messages day , it will last about 2.5 days. i have had a few days where i have the bluetooth on practically all day, listening to mp3's, making calls, tons of text messages, watching movies, messing around with the picsel browser and the phone will last probably 24 hours. the contacts list is the best i have seen in a phone. you can file people under any number of folders and give each folder a different ring tone if you like. you can text straight form the contact's number. if all you have put in is their cell # for example, under it it will have that same number but with a little mail icon and you just hit that and it takes u right to either an sms or mms message. you can jump to the first letter of their name but that's it. normally that wouldn't be cool but you can see 9 names at a time and jump in sets of 9 using the up-n'-down d-pad at the bottom front.so they made it real nice to get around in there. Bluetooth on A768i Dear Sir, I can able to connect my laptop with A768i via bluetooth. I can able to do file transfer between these two. But I am not able to browse internet from my laptop using A768i via bluetooth. Do I have to upgrade the software or any setting is there? Please help on this regard I am suffering a lot. Configuration of Motorola A768i to Access Email
Note: It is important to do the following before you proceed to configure your mobile phone to access the Email Client Service. a) Please contact your current POP mail service provider to enable the service first. b) To create a data account called SunSurf Mobile. SunSurf Mobile allows the phone to access the Internet and Email Client via the M1 network. Setting up SunSurf Mobile Data Account: 1. From the Main Menu, tab on Setup. 2. Select Data Network. 3. Use the stylus to tab on the bottom left button to set up a new data account. 4. Key in the following: 5. Profile name: SunSurf Mobile 6. GPRS Setting: 7. APN: sunsurf 8. User Name: 65 9. Password: user123 10. Timeout: off 11. Leave the rest of the options blank. 12. Tab Save to complete the setup. Email Client Set-up steps: 1. From the Main Menu, tab on Email. 2. Mailbox Name: Enter a name for your mail box e.g. My Yahoo Mail 3. Tab on Send Setup. 4. Server: smtp.miworld.com.sg 5. Port: 25 6. Email: Enter your email address 7. Nickname: Enter your name or nickname 8. Authentication: on 9. Check on the box to select the option same as Receive setup 10. Tab OK. 11. Tab on Receive Setup. 12. Select POP3 from the scroll down list. 13. Server: enter pop.xxxx eg: pop.mail.yahoo.com.sg 14. Port: 110 15. User name: enter email login user name 16. Password: enter email login password 17. ReEnter Password: enter email login password 18. Check on the box to select the option Keep on Server. 19. Incoming Message Size: 64K 20. Tab OK. 21. Tab on Signature Editing.

Tab Send/Receive to start accessing your emails. The following setting is based on Yahoo email for the incoming POP mail server & email address. Please input the correct incoming POP server name for other mail service providers like SingNet or StarHub.
