But lets not get ahead of ourselves. following this line youre struck by the elegance and balance of the Laguna Coups silhouette. The arc of the roof, height of the sides, wide set wheel positions; its whole design is that of a true sports coup. Fluid and dynamic harmony, with a timeless elegance.

DIRECTION

4CONTROL: DELIVERING A NEW LEVEL OF DRIVING PLEASURE.
With its 4-wheel steering, the 4Control chassis gives you a unique sense of precision, responsiveness and handling. The 4Control system acts on the steering angle of the rear wheels relative to your speed. Below 37 mph (1) the rear wheels point in the opposite direction to those at the front. So, the turning circle is reduced, meaning easier manoeuvring, and improved handling on winding roads. Above 37 mph (2) the rear wheels point in the same direction as the front wheels. When cornering, this means the rear tyres are perfectly aligned for the direction in which youre turning, and steering wheel movement (3) is decreased. This makes the Laguna Coup highly stable when driving round bends. For maximum safety, the 4Control computer is also linked to the ESC and ABS electronic systems. Because it can recognise emergency situations immediately, it adjusts the steering angle for the rear wheels instantaneously, so you can safely make quick avoidance manoeuvres.

A TOP-OF-THE-RANGE DRIVING ENVIRONMENT
The interior of the Laguna Coup gives pride of place to the nest materials. The sense of luxury stems both from the quality nish as well as the wealth of renements. The leather steering wheel with stylish stitching, the chrome gear knob, the genuine aluminium trim on the dashboard and on the door panel all underline the exclusive nature of the vehicle. The Carminat TomTom standard across the range is the rst truly accessible integrated navigation system. It calculates the best route, as well as giving real-time trafc updates (TMC) and speeding alerts. All the data is displayed clearly on a 5"8 colour screen.
