Mamiya lh-zd Back adopts has an area of 36 x 48 mm (its area is full of 35mm DSLR twice), effective 21,30 MP of CCD pixels, 14 A/D conversion. Also easier to machine the Mamiya Type the rage. However, with the development of digital, photo studio a significant reduction in the threshold.

Dual focusing knob is for regular and fine focusing. Distance scale indicates distance in meters and feet. Focal length scale: curved lines represent most focal lengths. Point at which focal length curve intersects distance graduation indicates distance focused upon by lens.
Dark Slide: prevents shutter from being released. Remove before taking picture.
Dark Slide: store on film holder.
Waist-level finder: Lift back of finder until it opens completely. To close, gently squeeze right and left panels of finder together while closing it.
To raise the magnifier slide the magnifier release slightly to the left and magnifier pops up into position. To lower magnifier push base plate of magnifier down until it locks in place.
Removing the lens: rotate bayonet ring of lens firmly in counter-clockwise direction
Attaching lens: With front of lens facing you, rotate bayonet ring counterclockwise as far as it will go. Seat lens on camera body with red index line on lens mount facing red alignment dot of camera body. Next, rotate bayonet ring of lens firmly in clockwise direction, securing lens to camera body.

65 mm lens (wide angle)

Extension ring for macro (close-up) photography.
Mount extension ring between camera body and lens.
Rotate back for vertical format: Set R-M lever to R. Rotate film holder clockwise until it clicks at a 90 degree turn. Set R-M lever back to center position.
Opening the film holder: Pull out both the upper and lower back cover latches and the back cover will open.
When opening back, take care that film holder doesnt fall out. Best work on table surface.
Open back without roll film holder, dark slide is inserted.
Loading the film holder: While holding down left-hand spool release pin of film insert, fit a roll of film between upper and lower left-hand film spool studs. When loaded correctly, black inside of backing paper will appear on outside of the insert back. If it does not, remove film, turn it upside down and reload. After feeding the tip of the backing paper into slot of take-up spool, wind film advance know until arrow of backing paper aligns with insert start mark.
Make sure R-M lever is set to center position (M: multiple exposure, R: rotate back) Remove dark slide when ready to make exposure.

Advance film by activating cocking lever of the camera body several times until it stops. (Push it strongly down towards the front of the camera.) When film is completely advanced, the number 1 will appear in exposure counter on film holder.
LED Monitor Lamps in Finder: Red Lamp: When it glows, dark slide has not been withdrawn. Battery is good. When it blinks, battery is weak. Orange lamp: When it glows, cocking lever has not been advanced.
Incident-light meter reads only the light falling on the subject. White globe covers lens. Use light meter to calculate exposure. Set the meter to the ISO rating of the film you are using.
reflected-light meter makes overall reading, good for metering average scenes. Remove white globe from lens.
Shutter release button: Release button collar: for normal operation the white dot is kept aligned with white dot on collar stop lever. Align white dot of collar with orange dot on camera body to lock shutter release button.
Advance film with cocking lever after every exposure. After the last exposure, press the cocking lever several times, until the film and backing paper have been completely wound onto the take-up spool. (You can also use the film advance knob of the film insert.)
Then open back cover of film holder and remove film insert. While holding down the right-hand spool release pin, remove the film. To prepare for future use, move empty spool to right-hand side.
Fold backing paper under before sealing the film.
Detach back only to change to polaroid back: Insert dark slide, move lever at bottom to right. Avoid touching inside of camera! Work on table surface to avoid dropping holder.
Attach polaroid back: - Align orange circle of revolving ring (at rear of camera) with upper index mark on camera body. - Hold film holder so that its orange circle is at the same position as the one on the revolving ring and fit the holder onto the camera back. Take care that the four camera back mount pins fit into the four openings of the holder. - Move the holder lock lever to the left. - Set the R-M lever on camera body at its normal center position. - Set film speed dial to speed of the film in use.
