OPTIMUS LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE TOUCHSCREEN: SAMSUNG CORBY
Exclusive Optimus Samsung Corby rewrites the design standards for touchscreen mobile phones; Ideal mobile phone for young people, available in several colours and for just 139.90; The touchscreen is an expanding category already representing over 18% of the market.
Optimus is once again revolutionizing the touchscreen mobile phone market, with the launch of the exclusive Samsung Corby S3650. This mobile phone, available in stores from 7th October, has an innovative design, in contrast to the typical rectangular form of other touchscreen phones, and will be available for only 139.90. With this launch, Optimus is expanding its touchscreen category, which already represents over 18% of the market, aimed at the younger segment: this model has functions which allow access to social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter or Youtube, as well as entertainment functions and a specific user interface. To complement the bold design which includes original, decorated and black covers the Samsung Corby has a 2MP camera, online Widgets and full touch 2.8 inch screen. Optimus invests in Multimedia campaign To mark this launch, Optimus, in conjunction with EURO RSCG, has created a multimedia campaign which includes TV, Cinema, Out-of-Home Advertising, Press and Internet. The campaign kicks off on 7th October and focuses on the unique design of this touchscreen phone, the online Widgets and access to social networks. The film features a young guy pushed into a series of situations by a giant finger, thus making the connection between the real world and the touchscreen experience.
