Auto Off Traction Control System Kit

Overview:

The Auto Off TCS Kit was designed for GM vehicles using Traction Control Systems (TCS). After installation, this Auto Off TCS Kit provides the antilock brake system/traction control system with a Turn Off signal 10 seconds after the ignition is turned On. This means the vehicle will start up with the TCS turned Off rather than the original turned On state. The Auto Off TCS Kit is very easily installed and does not require any original wiring to be cut. All wiring connections are completed using simple and effective wire taps with connectors.

Tools Needed:

1. 2. Pliers Volt Meter or 12 Volt Test Lamp (Recommended)

Installation:

1. 2. Gain access behind the Traction Control Switch located in the dash panel. Referring to Figure 1, on the connector attached to the TCS Switch, identify the following wires: Brown w/White Stripe or Lt. Blue on Connector , Pin F Brownon Connector , Pin E Black w/White Stripe on Connector , Pin C Note: Figure 1 is illustrated looking into the connector with the wires coming out the back. Using a pair of pliers, install a wire tap supplied with the kit to each of these three wires. With a volt meter or test lamp, verify the Brown slice to Black w /White Stripe splice has 12 volts only when the ignition is turned ON. Connect the Auto Off TCS Black wire connector to the wire tap on the Blackw /White Stripe wire. Connect the Auto Off TCS White wire connector to the wire tap on the Brownwith White Stripe or Lt. Blue wire. Connect the Auto Off TCS Pink wire connector to the wire tap on the Brownwire. Secure the Auto TCS module with a zip tie. Reinstall TSC Switch.
