A cleanly designed instrument panel greets you with large, easy-to-read gauges and easy-to-reach buttons, including convenient steering wheel-mounted speed controls and audio system adjustments. And to keep you on schedule, a stylish analog clock provides a tasteful centerpiece. To create the most comfortable environment for everyone, Freestar Limited provides individual temperature settings for the driver and front passenger. 2nd-row climate controls also put rearseat occupants in charge. This comprehensive front-to-rear coverage includes side-curtain airbags, front-seat side airbags and a rollover sensor. In certain types of collisions, the rollover sensor directs the side-curtain airbags to deploy. These airbags stay inflated longer, enhancing head protection for outboard passengers. They also help to keep passengers inside the vehicle. Helping out the driver and front passenger in milliseconds is the Personal Safety System. Its inner workings include dual-stage airbags, safety belt pretensioners and no less than 12 safety sensors. 1. Make sure all tires are inflated to the vehicles recommended inflation pressures (found in the owners manual on the door placard). 2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF then press and release the brake pedal. 3. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 4. Press and release the brake pedal. 5. Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 6. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 7. The horn should sound letting you know the vehicle has entered into TPMS relearn mode 8. Place the VT10s antenna on the sidewall of the drivers side front tire 180 degrees from the valve stem. 9. Hold the left button of the VT10 triggering tool for 5-10 seconds. The vehicles horn will sound letting you know the sensor has been learned. 10.Once the horn sounds, move on to the passenger side front tire and repeat the process. Each tire should only take 30 seconds. 11.After the passenger side front tire has been learned, continue on to the passenger side rear tire and finishing with the drivers side rear tire. 12.You may now turn the ignition to OFF. If the horn does not sound, the sensors were learned successfully. If the horn sounds twice, then the process must be repeated because there was a malfunction.
