Installation of Navitar NuView Series 491 lens on 3M X90 projector
Disassembly: 1. Disconnect the projector from power source. 2. Remove four screws that hold the lens shroud. (2 under projector, 2 under lens-shift door) 3. Remove the lens shroud. 4. To remove the prime lens push upward on the lock lever, rotate lens counter clockwise, and detach. (See manufactures instructions) Assembly: 1. Ensure that your NuView lens and its adapter are separate. 2. Place the adapter into the projector with the keyed portion of the bayonet at the 11:00 position. Rotate the adapter clockwise until the bayonet snaps into place. 3. Re-attach lens shroud. 4. Place the lens into the adapter rotating the lens clockwise making sure that it is engaged with the screw located on the end of the adapter tube. 5. To focus, gently twist the front of lens. To zoom, loosen thumb screw and twist the knurled ring. Re-tighten thumbscrew. CAUTION: When focusing do not twist entire lens out of adapter!
