MANHATTAN DSR 1500 1. Using your Manhattan remote control press SETUP button (located above the #3 button) 2. Press *down arrow and highlight SYSTEM SETTING 3. Press OK button 4. Press *down arrow and highlight DEFAULT SETTING 5. Press OK button and the screen will display WARNING: THIS WILL RESET ALL SETTINGS TO DEFAULT VALUES (If you see OK on screen go to step 6; if you DO NOT see OK on screen, press OK on remote control, then go to step 10) 6. Press *right arrow to select OK 7. Press OK button and the screen will display WARNING: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CONTINUE 8. Press *right arrow to select OK 9. Press OK button 10. When you have the maximum yellow/green bar on Signal Strength, press *down arrow to Start Search (there will be quotation marks on either end of Start Search when it is selected) 18. Press the OK button 19. A box will pop up to the right. When you see the word Store at the bottom of that box press OK button 20. Screen will display CHANNEL DATA IS BEING UPDATED then return to a TV viewing screen.

Press *down arrow to select Add new TP 15. Press OK button to display new window Add New TP Frequency will be highlighted in white. 16. Using the number buttons on the remote control enter the numbers 11842 17. Press *down arrow to select Symbol Rate 18. With the number buttons on the remote control enter the numbers 22000 19. Press *down arrow to select Polarization and push the *right arrow one time and it should read Horizontal 20. Press *down arrow to the word OK and press the OK button on the remote control. 21. Press *down arrow to select Channel Search and press the OK button on the remote control. 22. In the lower right hand corner you will see two bars, one says Level and one says Quality. You should have a green Level bar 23. Press *down arrow to select Search Mode then press *right arrow one time and it should read Manual SEE INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOVING THE DISH IMPORTANT: DO NOT PROCEED TO NEXT STEP UNTIL READJUSTING THE DISH. 24. Press *down arrow to select FTA/Scrambled and press *right arrow to read FTA Only 25. Make sure you have a yellow Quality bar then press *down arrow to select Start Search 26. Press OK button and a Searching screen will appear. 27. When Channel Scan is completed press OK, the Channel Search Screen will appear. 28. Press EXIT button to exit and view programming.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOVING THE DISH 1. Go outside to the dish. Mark the current position of the dish on the mast pipe and the current elevation angle. Slightly loosen the bolts that secure the dish to the vertical mast pie, while standing behind the dish move the satellite dish lightly to the left (EAST). Have someone else inside looking at the TV screen. When you are on the G-19 satellite you will get two green bars, one on the signal and one on the Quality (on the Manhattan Skyline 1000), a yellow/green bar on the Signal Strength on the (Manhattan DSR 1500), on the Topfield receivers you will get a yellow bar on the Quality bar.

2. You may have to adjust the elevation to receive the new satellite. If you are in the central US or Canada, minimal or no elevation change will be necessary. If you are in the eastern part of the US or Canada, slightly raise the dish approximately 2 degrees. If you are in the western part of the US or Canada slightly lower the dish approximately 2 degrees. Slightly loosen the bolts that lock the elevation angle. Once the Quality bar/Signal Strength bar is at the highest reading, tighten the dish mounting and elevation.
3. Slightly loosen the screws of the clamp that holds the LNBF. Slowly rotate the LNBF clockwise or counter clockwise to peak the Quality/Signal Strength bar.
