Alpine presents three follow-up models of the prize-winning iDA-X001 head unit, the first-ever control unit specially designed for the iPod The perfect iPod interface for every car! iDA-X100 The ergonomics of the "biggest" control unit, the iDAX100, have been enhanced still further. With the Double Action dial, consisting of two concentric rings, not only the complete search functions but also the volume adjustment can be controlled by a single element. And thanks to Alpine's iconic Quick Search function, any musical items can be located effortlessly and, above all, speedily. Because the new Microsoft Media Transfer Protocol (including Digital Rights Management 10) is supported, the iDA-X100 is the ideal solution for owners of numerous other MP3 players. With all these units, connection is direct via the USB interface. iDA-X200 The iDA-X200, which is in the mid-market category of head units, follows its "big brother" in terms of ergonomics, likewise featuring the Double Action dial controller and the high-convenience ID3-day search function, which ensures the rapid location of the song titles required. Endowed with an internal power of 4x45W and three preamplifier outputs and supporting the Microsoft Media Transfer Protocol (MTP), the unit is superbly engineered in terms of both sound and flexibility. iDA-X300 With the iDA-X300, the iPod (and the USB sticks) have an ideal playmate in the hifi entry-level category. With the simple rotary ring, the central Jog dial matches the original iDA-X001. Unlike the two other units, connection of the Apple player is not via the USB but via the proven Alpine Fullspeed interface, which also ensures immediate communication with the iPod. There is of course also a simple USB interface for the connection of data storage sticks, e.g. as an additional music source. With 4x45W, the iDA-X300 has the same power rating as the iDA-X200; it also has a preamplifier output.

Alpine presents the eX-10 iPod controller with TFT and Bluetooth handsfree function! The versatile eX-10 iPod controller, which can be installed without the need for tools, enables the iPod to be connected to any head unit in any vehicle simply, speedily, neatly and conveniently. The fact that the eX-10 can be mounted without the need for a special tool is a major asset and means greater flexibility at all times. In other words, you can use the controller as a portable solution in different vehicles. Clearly arranged screen: a further unique feature is the 6.1-centimeter color screen of the eX-10, on which the menus, play lists and search functions are all visible. After all, it isn't much fun navigating "blindly" among thousands of song titles. Bluetooth handsfree conversing: thanks to an integrated microphone, the eX-10 can additionally be used as a Bluetooth handsfree facility for the mobile telephone (this is a standard feature). The eX-10 iPod controller is therefore the ideal upgrade for new vehicles with fully integrated hifi systems as well as for used vehicles and company and hire cars. Clever: in-car iPod serves as "video jukebox" Alpine's new KCE-425i iBox The present generation of iPods can store up to 40,000 songs, 200 hours of videos and movies or 25,000 pictures. In other words, a huge potential which is largely ignored by all too many installation and adapter solutions for cars. Fortunately, however, there is now the KCE-425i black box from Alpine, the trendsetting producer where iPod integration in vehicles is concerned. Via the interface, which can be concealed, every type of visual signal can be transmitted from the iPod directly to a screen in the vehicle by means of a data cable. An additional adapter can be used to connect up not only Alpine units but even original factory systems. The options are many and varied: the Alpine unit can be connected to a rear seat entertainment system, for example, for the enjoyment of children or adults in the back seats. Always having his iPod on board with him, the driver can of course treat passengers to a private view of his collection of photographs. Mobile operation is becoming easier and more secure. The connected iPod is controlled via a cordless remote control and the clearly arranged screen menu, preferably using a touch screen in conjunction with the Alpine mobile media stations.
