DO NOT SPLICE INTO ELECTRICAL CABLES. Never cut away cable insulation to supply power to other equipment. Doing so will exceed the current carrying capacity of the wire and result in fire or electric shock. DO NOT DAMAGE PIPE OR WIRING WHEN DRILLING HOLES. When drilling holes in the chassis for installation, take precautions so as not to contact, damage or obstruct pipes, fuel lines, tanks or electrical wiring. Si un cble passe dans un orifice mtallique, utiliser un passe-cloison en caoutchouc pour viter que la gaine isolante du cble ne soit endommage par le rebord mtallique de lorifice. NE PAS INSTALLER DES ENDROITS TRS HUMIDES OU POUSSIREUX. Eviter dinstaller lappareil des endroits soumis une forte humidit ou de la poussire en excs. La pntration dhumidit ou de poussire lintrieur de cet appareil risque de provoquer une dfaillance.

ATTACHING THE TERMINAL COVERS
Attach the terminal covers (supplied) after connections and confirmation of correct operation. Attaching the terminal covers will improve the appearance of the unit.

Fixez les cache-bornes (fournis) aprs avoir vrifi que les raccordements ont t correctement effectus et que lappareil fonctionne correctement. La fixation des cache-bornes amliore laspect de lappareil. Comment fixer les cache-bornes: Fixez les cache-bornes gauche et droit laide des vis (M3 x 12) fournies, comme indiqu dans le schma cidessous. 1 Cache-bornes droit 2 Cache-bornes gauche 3 Vis (M3 x 12) REMARQUE : Ne transportez pas et ne soulevez pas lunit par les cache-bornes.
FIJACIN DE LAS TAPAS DEL TERMINAL
Fije las tapas del terminal (suministradas) tras realizar las conexiones y confirmar que la unidad funciona correctamente. La fijacin de las tapas del terminal mejorar la apariencia de la unidad. Cmo fijar las tapas del terminal: Fije las tapas izquierda y derecha del terminal con los tornillos (M3 x 12) suministrados, tal como se indica en la siguiente figura. 1 Tapa derecha del terminal 2 Tapa izquierda del terminal 3 Tornillo (M3 x 12) NOTA: No eleve ni transporte la unidad cogindola de las tapas del terminal.
How to attach the terminal covers: Attach the left and right terminal covers using the supplied screws (M3 x 12), as shown in the figure below.

CONNECTIONS
Before making connections, be sure to turn the power off to all audio components. Connect the yellow battery lead from the amp directly to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery. Do not connect this lead to the fuse block. To prevent external noise from entering the audio system. Locate the unit and route the leads at least 10 cm (3-15/16") away from the car harness. Keep the battery power leads as far away from other leads as possible. Connect the ground lead securely to a bare metal spot (remove any paint or grease if necessary) of the car chassis. If you add an optional noise suppressor, connect it as far away from the unit as possible. Your Alpine dealer carries various noise suppressors, contact them for further information. Your Alpine dealer knows best about noise prevention measures so consult your dealer for further information.

SWITCH SETTINGS

~ Crossover Mode Selector Switch a) Set to the LP position when the amplifier is used to drive a subwoofer. The frequencies above the crossover point will be attenuated at 12 dB/octave. b) Set to the HP position when the amplifier is used to drive a tweeter/ midrange system. The frequencies below the crossover point will be attenuated at 12 dB/octave.

RGLAGES DE COMMUTATEUR

~ Commutateur slecteur de mode de transfert a) Rgler sur LP lorsque lamplificateur est utilis pour exciter un haut-parleur de sous-graves. Les frquences suprieures au point de recouvrement sont coupes raison de 12 dB par octave. b) Rgler sur la position HP lorsque lamplificateur est utilis pour exciter un systme de haut-parleur daigus/ bande moyenne. Les frquences infrieures au point de recouvrement sont coupes raison de 12 dB par octave.

REMARQUE :

AJUSTES DEL INTERRUPTOR
~ Interruptor selector de modo del filtro divisor (de frecuencia) a) Fjelo en la posicin LP cuando se utilice el amplificador para excitar el altavoz de frecuencias ultrabajas. Las frecuencias sobre el punto de cruce se cortarn (a razn de 12 dB por octava). b) Fjelo en la posicin HP cuando se utilice el amplificador para excitar el sistema de altavoz de agudos/tonos medios. Las frecuencias bajo el punt de cruce se cortarn (a razn de 12 dB por octava).
In this case, the Bass EQ function is invalid. c) Set to the OFF position when the amplifier will be used for driving fullrange speakers. The full frequency bandwidth will be output to the speakers with no high or low frequency attenuation.
