f A32 integrated amplifier
Arcam is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of its best ever integrated amplifier, the FMJ A32. This model is now available from the companys FMJ specialist dealers.The new A32 continues the Arcam tradition of state-of-the-art audio components which combine exceptional sonic performance and beautiful style. There is no question that the A32 will set new standards for its class. It is very powerful, producing 100 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers and 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms. More importantly, this power is delivered with extraordinary subtlety and control. Total harmonic distortion is minute, the dynamic range is huge and the A32 responds to transients in a way that will be the envy of competing models. The result is an amplifier that will enhance any high quality hi-fi system, providing an open and smooth, yet supremely detailed and dynamic sound. Nevertheless, the appeal of the A32 is not solely its sonic performance and styling. This is not spartan design, and its performance is not achieved at the cost of flexibility or ease of use. The A32 is fully remote controlled and the included handset can also operate the matching FMJ CD player and radio tuners. It comes fitted with a very high quality turntable input suitable for either moving coil or moving magnet cartridges. The A32s input sensitivity is adjustable for all inputs allowing volume levels to be equalised when switching between source components. It boasts tone controls that can be individually adjusted and remembered for each input. All of these variations, and many more, are easily accessed and controlled using the menu driven display. You can even write your own welcome message to greet you each time the A32 is switched on. In addition, there will be a matching 100 wpc power amplifier available, which can be used to further enhance the performance of the A32. The P32 power amplifier can be purchased in either 2 channel or 3 channel versions to bi-amplify (or tri-amplify) suitable speaker systems or to provide amplification for multi-channel audio systems. The FMJ range is available in silver or black.
