The ASUS WL-500W Super Speed N multifunctional wireless router adopted the latest 802.11n draft to deliver high-speed data transfer and unparalleled interoperability between n-draft devices. It also incorporated Download Master and USB Pug-n'-Share features for convenient digital content downloads and sharing of printer, webcam and external hard drive functions. The WL-500W router adopted the latest wireless technology, 802.11n draft. With MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology, the WL-500W achieves speeds higher than 100Mbps, making it suitable for whole home multimedia streams. 802.11n draft products are fully compatible with legacy 802.11b/g devices. With Bandwidth-on-Demand, users can easily allocate bandwidth according to their individual needs by simply clicking on the buttons, such as voice or gaming, and assign more or less bandwidth to streamline streamlines multiple network activities(FTP, Games, P2P) to work smoothly at the same time. The WL-500W offers a host of USB Plug-n'-Share functions. Whether it's hard drives, printers or webcams, just plug them in via the USB 2.0 ports to enable other devices in the network to share their functions. Plug-n'-Share hard drive is especially worth highlight. It acts as an ftp server, which lets users backup data from their computers and use network neighborhood in Windows to browse external hard drive content. All these functions can be enjoyed without connecting the WL-500W to any computer systems.
