This ultimate effects pedal is specifically designed to smoothen harsh volume peaks when using dynamic slaps or other playing styles. Thanks to its high-performance features you get full dynamics and tone control for absolute flexibility and limitless creative options. A limiter reduces the dynamic range of a signal. This means that signal peaks will be attenuated and the level differences between loudest and softest playing are reduced. This results in a more powerful and pressure-rich tone. The loss of high frequencies due to compression can be compensated by using an enhancer that adds high-frequency harmonics to the sound.

1. CONTROLS

Top view The LEVEL control adjusts the output level. Turn up the ENHANCE control to achieve more presence and bass clarity. The RATIO control determines the amount of compression when the chosen threshold (see below) value is exceeded. Use the THRESH(old) control to define a level threshold. When this value is exceeded by the input signal, the BLE100 starts limiting with the chosen amount of ratio. The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the effect is activated. It also serves as a battery level indicator. Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the effect. Use this 1/4" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable. The 1/4" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp. Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included). The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V battery, press the hinges with a ballpen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch the unit.
The BLE100 has no on/off switch. As soon as you insert the jack into the IN connector, the BLE100 begins running. When not using the BLE100, remove the jack from the IN connector. This extends the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the bottom.
