DESCRIPTION
The Akrapovic Slip-On system looks great on the BMW, and improves the performance of the engine. The system is designed as a base-level exhaust system modification. The Street Legal version includes an approved noise damper. PERFORMANCE Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON street legal system on the BMW F 800 GS (with noise damper): Power & Torque: even as a base-level component, the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaustsystem delivers a performance increase. The largest effect is shown on the torque curve, while the power curve is also increased, especially in the middle and at the top of the rpm range CONFIGURATION The Akrapovic SLIP-ON exhaust system is composed of a cylindrical stainless steel link pipe welded to the muffler. The Akrapovic link pipe is attached to the stock header assembly with a sleeve joint secured with a metal clamp. The muffler is oval section and is available with a titanium outer sleeve. The interior of the muffler is made of stainless steel, as are the link pipe, inlet cap and outlet cap, due to the weld to the link pipe. The muffler is attached to the motorcycle frame using an Akrapovic carbon-fiber clamp. The muffler contains an approved noise damper. There is also a catalytic converter installed in the link pipe.

TPC The Tire Pressure Control (TPC) system makes riding safer, by constantly monitoring tire pressures and warning the rider via the on-board computer of any abnormalities. LOW SEAT The low seat is a no-cost option that makes it easier for feet to touch the ground. ANTI-THEFT ALARM SYSTEM For extra security and peace of mind. Can be armed and disarmed quickly with a key fob. LOWERED SUSPENSION The lowered suspension option includes the low seat, and brings the riders feet even closer to the ground. ABS (SWITCHABLE) Safety everywhere you go: Switchable BMW Motorrad ABS adds just 3.3 lbs to the total weight of the bike. ON-BOARD COMPUTER Know whats going on: The on-board computer displays the air temperature, gear currently selected, engine coolant temperature, average fuel consumption, fuel level and current range, and also features a stopwatch.
